Aïcha Vermeulen started her training as a groomer in 2009 with the intention of starting her own grooming grooming business after the coarse. Thanks to her persistance and talent and not to forget her coach Kitty Ponnet she startd competing at grooming comptitions after her ﬁrst year, she already won a lot of prices in grooming competitions and she also is the proud owner a successful grooming business and is specialised in grooming American Cockers and Poodles. Be sure that we will hear a lot from her in the near future ! 7 Shih Tzu Style Americain The Shih Tzu is a breed that is very important to Aicha. She booked a lot of success with this breed during her short but successful career. She is fond of their warm personality and loyalty. She is very enthusiastic to show you the Shih Tzu, American style. She thinks groomers can make a lot of money with this style. She will talk about the different ways to groom a Shih Tzu en the ways to make their coat more manageable. She will show you tricks that can give you more proﬁt.

This Spanish handler has a lot of experience and can prepare any breed for show. We will give him 4 unknown show dogs. He will make these more elegant and give them style by making only small changes. Each step will be explained thoroughly. After this demo you can enrol in a workshop led by Cezar. Then you come with your own dog or a rented dog from us and with the guidance of Cezar you learn how to prepare your own dog. He brought up a lot of champions in dog shows and won more than once “Best Italian Groomer”! He grooms and handles all breeds from the groups 1,2,3,8,9 and 10.

We invite you to come and see this enlightening demo with our specialist Dieny, she will show you step by step how she strips the Lakeland Terrier for the dog show and you will be amassed wih the result. She will show you her techniques and share her tricks with you, she will explain how you best prepare your dog for the dog show or grooming competition. She will also talk about the number of weeks between grooming sessions in your grooming shop (less work for you) and the commercial aspect so the grooming is affordable for your customers and your customers always has a good-looking dog. You have the unique opportunity to learn from a true artist and learn how to groom the Schnauzer in the most authentic and professional way. Luis will explain to you step by step the different ways you can strip a Schnauzer and then he will demonstrate how he gets to his stunning results. Our Belgian champion Melanie started her career at age 15 in Salon Kitty in Kortrijk, she is proud to say she had Kitty Dekeersgieter as a teacher. She has won more than 20 medals, her most prestigious title is the coveted title of Belgian Champion dog groomer who she is proud to say won twice two years in a row.

Kitty Dekeersgieter

Kitty began showing dogs as a child, and later, as a professional groomer and handler she “made up” many champions. She won multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, Best in Shows and Best All Round Groomer awards in both Europe and America. In 1996-1997 she won the prestigious title of “World Champion Poodle Groomer” and the coveted Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for “International Groomer Of The Year” at Intergroom in New York, USA. Kitty is the creator, and designer of Tikima Pro Wear for Groomers, K-Design (the world famous dog silhouette stickers) Show Tech professional grooming products and is together with her husband Darren Cooke the owner of Transgroom NV. Kitty is an international grooming contest judge, grooming speaker and demonstrator and has led seminars all around the world to educate groomers and to promote the grooming industry.

Nele Reygaerts

Nele Reygaerts is a groomer from East-Flanders. When she was 19 years old she had an apprenticeship contract with Kitty Ponnet, where she’s still working now. She only participated a couple of times in a grooming competition but she has been very succesfull, even in 2012 she won with the Engliesh Cocker ﬁrst price at the Dug Grooming competition in the Nederlands.

3 Golden Retriever With Elegance

Our succesfull Nele will show you how to change a common golden retriever into a beautiful well groomed, elegant dog with style. Very important is to strip the neck, give shape to the shoulders, ﬁnishing of the legs, and the modeling of ears and tail. Rony Demunter

Rony is owner of the grooming salon ‘Foliny’, which is specialized in terriers. He is the winner of several titles and medals at grooming contests at home and abroad and is frequent asked to be judge at grooming contests. Besides all this, Rony is also the owner of the famous Lakeland and Wire Fox Terriër afﬁx “Of Foliny Home”. He not only gives private lessons, but he also teaches in different schools and is a successful handler of most of the Terrier breeds.

12 Airdaile Terrier

This famous handler and breeder from Belgium will show you all he knows on grooming the Airdale Terrier. He will explain the different stripping techniques and let you enjoy the different steps in modeling this wonderful breed.

Sergio Villasante

This successful Brazilan Handler, groomer and Judge won a lot of titles with Bichons and at advanced age earned a degree as a veterinarian. He is an Ambassador of the Oster Brand (products for small and large animals) and is responsible for all areas of Canine Esthetics in Latin America and some countries in Central America and the proud owner of “ Republica dos Cães”(Dog Republic) school in Campinas- SP where he runs courses in canine esthetics. Sergio Is always proud to say he was a student of Kitty Dekeersgieter in Belgium.

20 Bichon

Our famous and successful Sergio is a true expert in styling and modeling the Bichon. Many groomers ﬁnd the Bichon is a real challenge to scissor but Sergio has a distinct style that he likes to share with us. If you have problems with the angulation, the expression of the Bichon, or you have absolutely no idea how to deal with those ears, then you should deﬁnitely be present at this seminar! Sergio will show you, he will also talk about the structure of the Bichon, the head, how you can create more elegance and give more expression.

Umberto Lehmann opened his grooming salon in Milano in 1980, after having been in breeding, showing and training. In 1985 he started giving formation and specialization courses in his Grooming School getting more than 250 students. From 1985 to 2001, he won several gold and silver medals in USA, Europe and Canada in Poodle, Handstripping, Purebreeds Scissoring and Spaniels. From 1989 to 2011 Umberto judged in more than 100 International Grooming Competitions, gave grooming demonstrations in more than 130 seminars in USA, all over Europe, Russia,Taiwan, Poland and India. Valérie and her husband Vincent Loubet have been running their well known and very successful grooming shop « Elégance Canine » for 11 years. She has won multiple Golden medals and won also Gold Medals from the World Championship per team in 2005, 2006 and 2007.In 2008 she won the Silver Medal at the European Championship! In addition to their grooming shop , she participates and prepares with great success poodles for the dog shows.
