INTRODUCCIÓN ¿Estás pensando en una escapada de fin de semana? ¿Te apetece buscar un destino que te ofrezca mar y montaña? ¿Te gusta conocer otras culturas? ¿Quieres comprobar si es cierto eso de …E para comer, Lugo? En esta nueva edición de la guía turístico-gastronómica que edita cada año, desde ya hace doce, la Asociación Provincial de Empresarios de Hostelería y Turismo de Lugo tenemos el objetivo de hacerte llegar diversas propuestas para conocer nuestra provincia en una aventura de pocos días. La idea de esta publicación responde a que en cada viaje proponemos al visitante que conozca tres destinos de la geografía lucense. Dividida la provincia en tres grandes partes, norte, centro y sur, cada propuesta recorrerá tres localidades, una de cada una de estas áreas.

El norte mezcla los impresionantes paisajes del mar y del horizonte con las playas de arena fina y blanca, el diverso patrimonio artístico con las montañas y la sierra de O Xistral, y, cómo no, la gran variedad de productos del mar y de la tierra con las diferentes citas festivas que nos esperan a lo largo de todo el año. De la maravillosa costa lucense, en cada uno de los capítulos, viajaremos a algún destino del centro de la provincia, donde nos esperan las altas cumbres de A Fonsagrada y de Os Ancares, el río Miño, las lagunas de parte de la Terra Chá, los bosques autóctonos... Una estupenda naturaleza que esconde verdaderos tesoros de la arquitectura de origen medieval, románico o incluso prehistórico y que conforma espacios perfectos para la práctica de diferentes deportes y para tomarse un tiempo de relax y desconexión.

Para finalizar cada escapada, optamos por aconsejar un ayuntamiento del sur. Muchos de ellos recorridos por el Camino Francés, considerado como la ruta principal de todas las peregrinaciones a Santiago de Compostela, y otros tantos pertenecientes a la Ribeira Sacra, tierra de uno de los mejores vinos de Galicia con denominación de origen. Tanto el legado religioso como los paisajes de los cañones del Sil son motivos de sobra como para acercarse a conocer esta esquina del mapa.

Are you thinking about a weekend trip? Do you feel like a destiny that offers you sea and mountain? Do you like knowing other cultures? Do you want to verify if ...E para comer, Lugo is true? In this new edition of the touristgastronomic guide that edits every year, since 2006, the Provincial Association of Entrepeneurs of the Hotel Industry and Tourism of Lugo have the aim of offering you some proposals to know our province in a few days adventure. The idea of this publication is because in every trip we propose three destinies to the visitor of the province of Lugo. Being divided the province into north, centre and south, every suggestion will go all over three regions. The north mixes the breath taking sea and horizon and scapes with the beaches of soft white sand, the diverse artistic eritage with the mountains of O Xistral, and of course, the great variety of sea and typical products of the region with the different celebrations that await us throughout the year.

From the amazing coast of Lugo, in every chapter, we will travel to some destiny of the centre of the province, where we will see the high mountains of A Fonsagrada and Os Ancares, the Miño river, the lakes of A Terra Chá, the native forests… A marvellous nature that hides fantastic treasures of the architecture of medieval, Romanesque or even pre-historic origin and that includes perfect are as for the practice of different sports and to take a relaxing time.

INTRODUCTION

To finish every trip, we aimed for suggesting a town council from the south. Many of them are crossed by the French Way, which is considered as the main route of all peregrinations to Santiago de Compostela, and others belonging to the Ribeira Sacra, a land with one of the best wines of Galicia with Certificate of Origin. Apart from the religious legacy, the landscapes of the Canyons of the Sil river are good reasons to know this corner in the map.

O VICEDO Una frontera virgen El río Sor marca el límite entre las provincias de A Coruña y Lugo. Durante tu escapada no puede faltar la visita al sendero que lleva a la punta del Fuciño do Porco, desde donde ver el horizonte y disfrutar de unas vistas realmente privilegiadas. Sus playas vírgenes son las verdaderas protagonistas de su costa. Arealonga, Xilloi, San Román o Abrela son algunos de los arenales más bonitos.

El río Miño deja a su paso por esta localidad del centro lucense uno de los humedales de mayor riqueza paisajística: la laguna de Cospeito, con un centro de interpretación y con varios observatorios de aves. ¡Visita obligada!

A Pontenova > O Corgo > Pantón A PONTENOVA Pasado minero La minería tuvo gran esplendor a finales del siglo XIX y emblema de esa época son los Hornos de Vilaoudriz, ejemplo de la arquitectura industrial del sector. Para verlos tan solo tendrás que viajar hasta el núcleo urbano de A Pontenova y cruzar este puente que salva el Eo. Desde ellos parte una bonita ruta que transcurre a orillas del río y que te llevará por el transcurso del antiguo tren minero que comunicaba las minas con el puerto de Ribadeo.

La construcción del embalse de Belesar, que también puedes visitar, fue la causa de su reubicación. A día de hoy, cuando el nivel de la presa es muy bajo, se pueden ver las ruinas de la antigua villa.

If you decide to visit the city of Lugo, you need to take notes of everything it can offer you.
