TORONTO — It’s going to be a breakout year for Asia now that most countries in the region have dropped the last of their COVID-19-related entry requirements and fully reopened their borders to international visitors.
According to KAYAK, flight searches to Asia are up 100% since last summer, with Manila (+287% year-overyear increase in searches), Tokyo (+279% YoY) and Bangkok (+229% YoY) leading the top trending international destinations in 2023. This summer, searches by Canadians for rental cars in Asia are also up 126% year-over-year, while hotel searches in the region have spiked 120% year-over-year.
Also notable is the fact that compared to pre-pandemic levels in summer 2019, Canadians are searching for longer international trips, from an average of 18 days to 21, indicating that they’re ready to go further afield and explore bucket-list destinations once again.
“Pre-pandemic, we saw interest searches spike for travel to Asia in
April and May and so far this year, the same is true with April and May being the most searched months for travel to Asia in 2023, so far,” says Leon Mulder, Senior Country Manager of KAYAK Canada. “Pre-pandemic, we also saw a spike in searches for travel to Asia during the holiday season and don’t expect this year to be any different, especially given the strong interest we’ve seen from Canadians searching for travel to Asia this summer.”
All this is great news for destinations like Hong Kong, which has also
seen a significant increase in searches for travel from Canada this summer compared to 2019 (+94%). Having dropped all pre-departure and post-arrival quarantine and testing requirements on April 1, 2023 and its mask mandate on March 1, 2023, coupled with the Canadian government’s lifting of temporary pre-departure test requirements for air travellers from China, Hong Kong and Macao on March 17, 2023, Hong Kong is poised for major recovery this year, particularly from the Canadian market, which contributed over 318,000 visitors prior to the pandemic, in 2019.
“There is clearly an interest in travelling to Hong Kong, likely influenced by the removal of travel restrictions,” says Michael Lim, Acting Director-Americas, Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB). “We saw a jump of 70% in visitor arrivals from Canada in March compared to February, and an increase of 90% in April compared to February, before the removal of travel restrictions.”
The HKTB’s new global campaign, ‘Hello Hong Kong,’ was fortuitously timed in February, just ahead of the removal of Hong Kong’s travel restrictions, causing a much
needed back-to-back boost in tourism. Launched as a clear signal to the world that it is ready to welcome back international tourists, the campaign includes a vast selection of enticing offers from more than 16,000 local establishments ranging from complimentary welcome drinks to exclusive gifts and transportation vouchers.
But what really has people talking is the campaign’s massive air ticket giveaway – 500,000 tickets, to be exact, courtesy of Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK). Distributed globally through Cathay Pacific Airways, Hong Kong Express, Hong Kong Airlines and Greater Bay Airlines on a first-come-first-serve basis, the complimentary air tickets generated huge buzz for the destination in key markets, particularly Canada.
“In Canada, air tickets were distributed on May 17, and we are very encouraged by the enthusiastic response from Canadians. As of today, all the tickets have been claimed,” says Lim. “HKTB has launched various worldwide campaigns through

the years, and we think that each one is unique, bold and innovative. ‘Hello Hong Kong’ is not an exception but this is the first time that AAHK is giving away 500,000 airline tickets.”
Of course, once visitors arrive in Hong Kong, they’re going to want to see the sights, of which the city certainly has no shortage of. A host of new and upgraded attractions has been unveiled in recent years, most notably the M+, a museum of 20thand 21st-century visual culture, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, featuring over 900 treasures from the Palace Museum at the Forbidden City in Beijing. There’s also the state-ofthe-art, sixth-generation Peak Tram,
which carries riders to the upper levels of Hong Kong Island, Water World Ocean Park, Asia’s first all-weather, year-round water park by the sea, and ‘Momentous,’ an all-new nighttime spectacular at Hong Kong Disneyland.
When asked when would be the best time for Canadians to visit, Lim says there are two peak seasons – fall and winter. “But with so many events happening throughout the year, including summer, Hong Kong is a perfect year-round getaway!”
There are currently 21 weekly direct flights to Hong Kong from Canada. For more information about travel to Hong Kong go to www.discover hongkong.com/ca.

TORONTO — For Expedia Group, last month’s open house was about more than just showcasing its beautiful Toronto office to its VIP partners. It was also an opportunity to share exciting new updates that will make it easier for Expedia TAAP travel advisors to book and build trips.
Expedia TAAP (Travel Agent Affiliate Program), an agent-friendly online booking platform with competitive commissions on multiple lines of businesses, has grown exponentially since launching in Canada in 2010. Today, the program actively supports over 37,000 travel agencies and more than 100,000 travel advisors across 32 countries, including Canada, with advisors booking over 2.3 million trips and experiences for their clients in 2022 alone.
At the May 16 Toronto event, part of a cross-Canada series that also included open houses in Montreal and Vancouver, the Expedia TAAP team celebrated its many successes with approximately 100 guests. Rebecca Cregan, TAAP Commercial Director –North America, tells Travelweek that in Q1 in 2023, Expedia Group saw “strong growth in our B2B business, driven by an expanding partner base and growth from our existing partners,” and that its overall B2B business, of which TAAP is part of, grew by 55% compared to the same quarter in 2022.
“Our team has been pleased to see the strong recovery since the pandemic. At Expedia Group, one of our core objectives is enabling growth for our B2B partners, with travel advisors playing a central role in this. We continue to invest in TAAP, and with that comes looking at other locations where we can provide advisors access,” says Cregan.
In June 2022, Expedia Group announced that it would be expanding Expedia TAAP to an additional 53 new
markets in the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, giving more travel advisors access to a broad range of travel offerings, including hotels, vacation rentals, flights, car rentals, cruises and activities, as well as a suite of tools and technology like ‘Virtual Agent,’ which allows them to search for information and modify bookings at their leisure.
On the heels of this rapid expansion, Expedia Group is now in the midst of launching a new shopping experience for its travel advisors, making it easier than ever to find the right properties at the right rate for their clients.
“With the new shopping experience, our partners can spend less time shopping and easily compare different rates in one single view,” says Cregan. “They will be able to see at a glance rate conditions, cancellation policies and the commission they could earn per rate.”
Cregan adds that Expedia TAAP will also debut a new dynamic map that makes it easier for advisors to locate properties in their clients’ desired area, In addition, travel advisors will be able to create and share customizable quotes for their clients with information on up to four different properties or rate types. And coming soon for select partners is a deferred payment option that will give clients a way to book now, pay later and secure better lodging rates by making reservations earlier with no down payment upfront.
Many of these new updates, says Cregan, were a direct result of feedback
from TAAP advisors and can be found at the program’s new URL, www. ExpediaTAAP.ca. This move, she adds, “allows our team to build more travel agent-specific features and is designed to deliver a better and more consistent booking experience for travel agents.”
It’s because of innovations like these that Expedia TAAP has been able to survive and thrive during these last three very challenging years. With the main goal of “getting money into agents’ pockets at a faster rate,” Cregan says that Expedia Group fast-tracked membership to Silver tier during the pandemic, increasing agents’ earnings potential and empowering them to earn up to 42% more in revenue. In addition, the company also implemented the Expedia flexible policy, allowing eligible bookings to be converted to ‘refundable,’ or be eligible for an Expedia TAAP coupon.
“As the travel industry moves forward, we want our agents to know we’re here to help. Whether it’s by using our self-service booking manager to modify reservations online, our mobile-friendly, AI-powered chatbot for self-service of trip management tasks, or our 24/7 worldwide support in several languages, we’ve got our partners covered,” says Cregan. “No matter what stage of the booking journey, there are support agents in over 40 countries available online or on the phone to help before, during and after their travellers’ trips.”

The Dominican Republic’s Minister of Tourism, David Collado, has called on the Ministers of Tourism of the UNWTO to seek a common solution to sargassum, saying that individual actions will not solve the problem. Sargassum has been the bane of tourism officials in parts of the Caribbean, Mexico and U.S. states including Florida, but has ramped up in recent years. The brown seaweed accumulates in giant masses, floating in the ocean and then washing ashore on the beach. Minister Collado issued a fervent appeal to the members of the UNWTO’s Executive Council, which met earlier this month in the D.R.
“The solution to the Sargassum problem cannot be individual. And organizations like this should help small countries find solutions when we don’t have them,” said Minister Collado. He added that tourism is not a luxury for the D.R., but an essential sector because of the impact it has on the economy, which represents more than 25% of the GDP.
The Italian National Tourist Board is alerting trade partners to a new site that provides timely updates on accessible areas in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, which was impacted by destructive flooding earlier this month. Travel advisors, tour operators and any travel industry professional looking for more information can visit https://visiter.it/ emilia-romagna-2023-en for updates on accessible areas and ongoing recovery efforts.
The yet-to-be ratified agreement between WestJet Group and the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) reportedly includes what could be the beginning of the end of Swoop. According to a CityNews report, the agreement between WestJet Group and the pilots union includes the condition that Swoop must be fully integrated into WestJet by October 2024. Swoop’s first flights took off in 2018. The collective bargaining agreement between the WestJet Group and the ALPA, hammered out just hours before the strike deadline that would have seen WestJet Group pilots walk off the job on May 19, has yet to be ratified.

MONTREAL — Four new routes have been added to Air Canada’s winter sun schedule, said to be the airline’s most comprehensive ever.
This winter from Toronto and Montreal, Air Canada will be flying to Monterrey and Los Cabos in Mexico, as well as La Romana and Fort-de-France in the Caribbean. It will also be deploying a substantial increase in capacity from its Vancouver hub to Mexico, Miami, Phoenix, Las Vegas and San Diego, as well as additional flights from coast to coast to popular winter vacation destinations in Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Started in 2003, the YellowBird Foundation was created by travel industry executives who envisioned giving back to communities and destinations where they serve and send passengers. Since inception, the Foundation has raised over half a million dollars and completed approximately 15 projects, most recently, the rebuilding of a school in Turks & Caicos following Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2019. Other notable projects, all of which have been funded by money raised from the annual YellowBird golf tournament, include the installation of solar panels in Jamaica school, transporting young cancer patients to Toronto to receive life-saving treatment at SickKids hospital, and the Goat Dairy Project in Grenada, which supports and empowers local farmers.
Oceania Cruises recently christened its brand new ship, Vista, at a glittering ceremony in Valletta, Malta.
The first of the line’s Allura Class vessels, the beautiful 1,200-guest, all-veranda ship, made its debut with a star-studded celebration headlined by Italian-American chef, author, restaurateur, food personality Giada De Laurentiis, the ship’s godmother, plus musician Harry Connick, Jr., who gave an exclusive performance.
“We have been eagerly awaiting this historic day as we christen our first new ship in more than ten years and pave the way for an exciting future,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “The world-class experience of this beautiful ceremony perfectly aligns with Vista’s impeccable onboard experience, which features a stunning design, exceptional entertainment, top-notch service and innovative culinary delights. We are so thankful to our team members and partners worldwide who have worked tirelessly to bring us to Vista’s grand debut.”
Setting new standards for comfort and residential-style luxury, Vista features all-veranda accommodations. The ship’s elevated variety of onboard activities include eight bars, lounges and entertainment venues plus the luxurious Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center and Aquamar Spa Terrace. Vista also boasts the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, which measure more than 290 square feet, plus new Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms for solo travellers. The 67,000-ton ship also offers a market-leading staffing ratio with two crew members for every three passengers.
Continuing to elevate The Finest Cuisine at Sea, Vista
features 11 onboard culinary venues including three of which are new to Vista. These include: Aquamar Kitchen, offering an array of wellness-inspired dishes; The Bakery at Baristas; and a new signature restaurant, Ember.
With an emphasis on innovating for drinks, as well as all things culinary, Vista is also introducing The Casino Mixology Bar, a new concept for the line, focused entirely on the art of the cocktail.
As godmother, De Laurentiis will create two signature dishes to be served in Toscana, Oceania Cruises’ authentic Italian specialty restaurant evolved from rich family traditions, as well as The Grand Dining Room, the luxurious grand dame of the line’s culinary venues.
Following the seven-night roundtrip VIP christening cruise, Vista sailed its maiden voyage from Rome to Venice before embarking on a sold-out summer in the Med. In September, Vista will sail to Canada and New England before heading south for a series of winter itineraries exploring Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean from a Miami homeport.
Vista’s 2024 summer season will feature a series of Grand Voyages in the eastern Med, Aegean and Adriatic Seas, visiting an array of iconic cities and smaller boutique ports throughout Italy, Turkey, Greece and the Holy Lands.
Next up: Allura, Oceania’s sister ship to Vista, will debut in 2025. Allura’s inaugural season is expected to open for reservations this summer.
The small ship adventure cruise line UnCruise Adventures is known for its immersive, active experiences in some of the world’s most photogenic destinations, from southeast Alaska to Latin America and the Galapagos.
In its 27 years - the line got its start in 1996 - UnCruise Adventures has grown to 9 ships, ranging in size from the 22-passenger Safari Quest, to the 86-passenger Wilderness Legacy.
Alaska was the birthplace of UnCruise Adventuresand certainly the company continues to offer a wide range of sailings in ‘The Last Frontier’.
“We are focused on an amazing Alaska summer and throughout May have been doing flash pop-up sales to ensure travellers know about the adventures of UnCruise and the options to travel for 7-14 nights through the wilderness and glaciers of Alaska,” says the cruise line’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Liz Galloway.
She adds: “We will have some more bigger news in July around some new itinerary options and expansion into the Alaska and Pacific North areas with visits up close and personal to places others are not providing. We love staying ahead of the cruising game and providing more adventure options for our guests, returning and new.”
Other itineraries include Costa Rica, Colombia, Belize, Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, and the Hawaiian Islands.
Travel styles range from adventure, to family travel, adult-only travel, solo travel and groups and charters.
Few cruise lines escaped the pandemic unscathed but an update earlier this year from UnCruise Adventures owner and CEO Captain Dan Blanchard underlined the company’s resilience, and momentum for 2023 and beyond.
The company notes that while “most cruise lines are still dealing with massive losses and crushing debt … UnCruise Adventures’ savvy business decisions, loyal guests, adaptive staff, and quick ability to pivot during the pandemic have propelled them into a profitable return to business, giving travel advisors and guests solid confidence in the reliable future of the company.”
“Our approach to adventure cruising and business management is different from the big multi-national cruise lines,” says Capt. Blanchard. “We have always focused on small group and sustainable travel, and that has paid off. The best investment we can make is in ourselves and our environment. Our guests appreciate that, coming back year after year.”
The company successfully bounced back from the pandemic “and may be the only profitable cruise line in both 2021 and 2022.” The achievement is a testament to UnCruise Adventures’ commitment to its guests and resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.
Like many companies, UnCruise Adventures made its fair share of pivots during the pandemic. Notably, the cruise line switched to a digitally focused marketing and content strategy, and a paperless digital brochure, saving millions annually and improving the environment at the same time.
“We have a responsibility to do what we can to preserve the natural wonders we showcase to our guests and to provide confidence in the strength and longevity of our brand,” says Capt. Blanchard.

BARBADOS — The news that came out of the 2023 CHTA Caribbean Travel Forum was generally rosy as the Caribbean has been the fastest recovering region in the world - and that’s after some predicted it wouldn’t recover.
In fact, the Caribbean is close to seeing full recovery, as it’s only down 1% from 2019 levels. An upward trend in occupancy has dovetailed with a high demand for upper-end luxury travel.
Travelweek got all the latest news and updates at the 2023 CHTA (Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association) Caribbean Travel Forum, held last month in Barbados.
A key issue to recovery that was repeatedly touched upon was air connectivity, which has yet to return to 2019 levels and currently showing deterioration once again.
The differential in demand versus supply is creating a spike in airfare prices. There’s a strong push from the CHTA and other organizations and tourism boards for more direct flights to Caribbean vacation spots as many destinations struggle with direct connectivity.
Another important issue that arose was the need for more capability to “island hop.” Many people are not visiting multiple destinations, especially compared to other regions, underlining the need for a joint strategy between Caribbean nations. One lowcost idea floated at the forum was an ‘all-you-can-fly’ pass between islands.
The Caribbean is in growth mode, although growth is uneven across the different destinations. It’s heavily dependent on tourism, more so
than any other region in the world. The Caribbean has a population of 19 million people and 2019 saw 31 million visitors to the islands. Average costs for Caribbean travel have been increasing due to inflationary pressures, but this can also be said for the rest of the world, and people have been willing to pay more for Caribbean travel because of the region’s high value proposition. There’s also been a strong bounce-back of events and, since 42% of tourist expenditure is on food, also a strong effort to build out more food experiences.
The Caribbean is also at the forefront of trying to solve the climate crisis with, for example, the Bridgetown initiative. It’s a planet-wide plan for addressing the crisis by establishing a global climate mitigation trust that lends directly to projects instead of to governments. The Caribbean sees itself as being on the front line of the effects of the crisis, explaining its concern and desire to create policy.
The CHTA Destination Resilience Award in Category A was given to Jamaica, with Bonaire, St. Lucia and St. Maarten as runners up. In Category B, it was awarded to Eleuthera, Bahamas.
The CHTA’s Icon of Hospitality Award was honoured posthumously upon Sandals Resorts founder Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, who passed away in 2021, and George Myers, who passed away earlier this year, and also to Sir Royston Hopkin, who passed away in 2020.
The first-ever CHTA President’s Award for Caribbean Tourism Excellence was given to Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett.
CHARLOTTETOWN — Porter Airlines has confirmed plans to fly year round between Ottawa and Charlottetown following the route’s inaugural flights on May 17.
THERE’S A STRONG PUSH FROM THE CHTA FOR MORE DIRECT FLIGHTS AS MANY DESTINATIONS STRUGGLE WITH DIRECT CONNECTIVITY.
The direct service begins with 11 weekly flights before increasing to 14 weekly roundtrips during the summer peak season. As of Oct. 29, 2023, the route will increase to daily through the winter.
With the service, Porter now flies to all Atlantic provinces for the first time. It is also the only airline to offer yearround, daily nonstop service between Charlottetown Airport (YYG) and Ottawa International Airport (YOW).
“The launch of the Charlottetown-Ottawa route is an important milestone for Porter as we bring our signature service to Islanders for the first time,” said Michael Deluce, president and CEO, Porter Airlines. “As we continue building a broader North American network, our growth throughout Eastern Canada remains an important priority to ensure communities have access to reliable air service.”
The nonstop flights between Ottawa and Charlottetown are served by 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft featuring a selection of premium snacks and free beer and wine served in glassware.
With the introduction of
Charlottetown, Porter is now operating 10 nonstop routes from Ottawa International Airport this summer. For more information about schedules and Porter Escapes hotel and flight packages, go to www.flyporter.com.
OCHO RIOS — The completely new and transformed Sandals Dunn’s River has begun welcoming its first guests.
Located on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach - a site originally selected by Sandals Resorts International founder the late Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart when the first Sandals Dunn’s River opened over 30 years ago - the resort is now in full operation following its grand debut on May 19.
Sandals Dunn’s River is the 17th
resort in the Sandals Resorts portfolio.
The 260-room luxury all-inclusive resort features new culinary concepts and elevated suite designs, and offers a personal connection to its setting on Jamaica’s north coast, said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International (SRI).
“Ocho Rios has been the backdrop of some of my family’s most pivotal moments, including along this very beach where my father grew up and turned a perhaps once unimaginable dream into one of the world’s most well-known hotel brands,” said Stewart. “Today, we celebrate innovation and a commitment to excellence as we unveil the next generation of Sandals Resorts in our home country of Jamaica. I cannot think of a better way to honour his legacy and acknowledge the incredible future of our brand than to welcome our very first guests to Sandals Dunn’s River. It’s great to have you home.”
Sandals Dunn’s River infuses its Jamaican roots into every sense, Stewart added, designed to embrace the essence of the destination’s rivers, lush forests, and majestic banyan trees. Upon arrival in the open-air lobby, guests will even experience Sandals Resorts’ first-ever signature fragrance, a mix of white florals and fruits, with notes of musk and sandalwood.
• Sandals “firsts” at Sandals Dunn’s River include Tufa Terrace SkyPool Butler Suites, a first in Jamaica with glass panel edge infinity pools spanning the length of balconies flanked by views of the Caribbean Sea.
• Coyaba Sky Swim-up Rondoval Butler Suites with Private Pools, standouts thanks to their iconic standalone circular villas, have been reimagined with open-air rooftops.
• Mammee Bay Beachfront Butler Suites feature expansive balconies that overlook the sea with sunset views.

natural limestone steps.
• Sandals Dunn’s River’s connection to Jamaica continues at BLŪM, one of 12 new culinary concepts at the property. A tip of the hat to the island’s Blue Mountains, BLŪM offers a first-of-its-kind coffee drinking experience with 25-cup cold drip towers, nitro cold brew on tap and Modbar pour-over units. Pastries and treats are on offer too.
• Dunn’s Rum Club features the largest selection of rum on the island of Jamaica and any other Sandals Resort. Curated and cleverly named rum flights elevate the experience even more.
• The luxurious Lapidus Lounge is an homage to Morris Lapidus, the famed architect who designed the site’s first resort - the Arawak Hotel. Lapidus’ aesthetic also epitomized 1960s Caribbean chic.
• For an authentic taste of Jamaica, the Jerk Shack is as traditional as it is delicious, offering crispy festival - fried sweet corn cakes, alongside spicy “jerked” meats and seafood infused with local allspice and scotch bonnet pepper. There’s also Laughing Waters Beach Bar.
• Culinary offerings include: Hamani, an izakaya-inspired sushi restaurant; Edessa and its Mediterranean flavours; an Asian-fusion menu at Banyu; Central and South American flavors at Zuka; Italian at Cascata; a taste of France at L’Amande; grilled delights and island staples at Galene; and Saltaire, offering live-action breakfast and lunch selections.
• The source of the water that flows through Sandals Dunn’s River is from the natural reserves of the Dunn’s River Falls, from the lobby waterfalls to the cascading pools of the Red Lane Spa.
• Guests can tee off with complimentary green fees at the nearby and newly refurbished Sandals Upton Estate Golf & Country Club
• Other options include diving the depths of the ocean and exploring marine sanctuaries with PADI, or rafting the Martha Brae River.

TORONTO — The 2024 10-year anniversary TTAND National Conference in Jordan sold out in 47 seconds, with over 150 agent partners now on a wait list.
“We really wanted to do something special for our 10th anniversary and we have been secretly working behind
the scenes for a year with G Adventures, Jordan Tourism and Royal Jordanian Airlines to arrange what is believed to be a Canadian travel industry first - a major Canadian travel agency conference in the Middle East,” said TTAND founder, Flemming Friisdahl.
TTAND agents, staff and suppliers will travel to Jordan on a private, chartered Royal Jordanian Airlines jet in June 2024.
The surprise location of next year’s conference was announced live at the 2023 TTAND conference in Cancun to 240 attending agents, while another 568 had the opportunity to watch it through a Facebook livestream.
“People were standing in the room and the energy was out of this world – the tension was very high amongst agents as speculation grew about where the 10-year anniversary conference would be held,” said Friisdahl. “ The announcement video reveal did not immediately mention the destination but rather showed images and videos of the destination with a countdown from 10 to 1. By the time Jordan was announced, agents were literally jumping off their seats, hugging each other, clapping and some were even crying.”
TTAND waited three days after the conference ended for registration to open, allowing everyone to return to Canada and be ready to register.
“It was incredibly hard to keep the 2024 conference destination details a secret from the travel agents while in Mexico,” said Omar Banihani, Director of Marketing, Visit Jordan. “The TTAND team was keen on keeping it a secret and for a good reason! I was pleasantly surprised at the response we received after the announcement. So much love and interest in Jordan and selling out in 47 seconds was not expected at all. We are so excited to have the TTAND family in Jordan next year.”
The co-host for the 2024 conference is G Adventures.
“Everyone at G Adventures is excited to co-host The Travel Agent Next Door in Jordan for their 10th anniversary conference in 2024. When we announced the destination at their conference in Mexico there was so much excitement in the room, that I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that the event sold out in a record 47 seconds!” said David Green, VP Sales and Customer Operations & Managing Director Canada.
He added: “We have an incredible partnership, our sales with TTAND are growing exponentially and we can’t wait to showcase Jordan and the great work we do at G Adventures in creating life changing experiences for our travellers. We of course couldn’t do this without the support of the other
co-hosts! A big thanks to Royal Jordanian and Jordan Tourism Board. Bring on Jordan!”
Apart from the conference being in the Middle East, it will also be unique because it will combine a G-Trip experience.
“Of course, agents and suppliers will still get a lot of presentation and networking time – just in spectacular locations,” said Friisdahl.
