Maipo Valley Full Day Program Maipo Valley: Wine Route Departure from the accommodation in Santiago at 08:30 AM approx. Maipo Valley, a rural town located 80 km from Santiago. Our ďŹ rst stop will be La Espina del Arte, an art gallery in the middle of an old family house, with Constanza and Rodrigo, artists who own the place, we will enjoy a delicious coffee under a centenary ceibo. Then you will visit the gallery where other local artists share the space. Then we will visit the ChicherĂ­a Los Mesa. We will walk among old oak barrels and wrapped with local wine aroma. We will stop at Don Rolando house, who has worked in his garden for many years, we will walk through avocado trees and small cactus. La Era Vineyard is the next stop. The vineyard remained closed since the 70s and is more than 100 years old. It facilities represent the wine origin. It still keeps its old machines, pipes, and vines. We will have a three wine tasting in the old cellar. We will have lunch in a country house, and enjoy the local gastronomy with the mini farm, extensive avocado plantation, and organic garden. The effort is to use the highest percentage of food from the same plot and location for the subsequent dishes preparation. Finally, we will visit an artisanal producer in the area. Elizabeth with her Chocolate Shop where she handmade chocolate, and Francisco who dedicates himself to honey production. We will arrive in Santiago at 7:00 p.m. Life Changing Experience
