THE COVENANT WITH GOD BRINGS INCREASE

Abraham and Sarah became eye witnesses of the prosperity of God that comes through covenant. In Genesis 12:1-3, God spoke to Abram and said, “I will bless you and make your name great.” Regarding Sarai, He also told Abram, “I will bless her” (Genesis 17:16). The blessing came through the covenant right of prosperity. That covenant, through it’s power and favor, caused this couple to be rich. Genesis 13:2 states that Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold. This spiritual blessing translated into material assets. What does that have to do with us? I am glad you asked.
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalms 35:27
In Galatians 3:13-14 we see the application of this covenant of wealth to anyone in the body of Christ that will receive it by faith.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Jesus bought and paid for it on Calvary’s cross. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9). When did He become poor? At the same time He became sin for us, when He hung on the cross. Christ was made a curse for us so that the blessing of Abraham might come on us. We can now receive His promise through faith in Him. Because Jesus laid down his life for us, we have covenant blessings. Through faith in His substitutionary work, we acquiesce the flow of wealth in our lives, like Abraham and Sarah did. “The blessings of the Lord maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22). Accept God’s Covenant of blessing into your life. Let these words continually come out of your mouth: “Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
Soul Prosperity

When we discuss soul prosperity, we must address issues that war against our soul. Fear is a human emotion that is triggered by a perceived threat. When one lives in a prolonged or even constant state of anxiety or fear, they can become incapacitated. Stress caused by fear eventually leads to physical harm to our bodies. Data shows that 80% of all physical sickness is a result of stress. In this life, opportunities to be fearful or anxious arise daily. Jesus said in this life we will have tribulation, but to be of good cheer, because He has overcome the world. The lesson to be learned is to pass up these occasions to hold onto fear.

Here are some tips to living free from fear: 1. Find scriptures that contradict your fears, for example, if you are fearful of not having enough money, Look up Philippians 4:19 and declare it. 2. Use your imagination to see yourself strong and courageous with God supporting you 3. Engage with people who are mentally positive and spiritually grounded in God’s love 4. Begin to think of others and demonstrate acts of kindness (fear is often based in selfishness) 5. Make a gratitude list to remember how God has brought you through hard times before 6. Rejoice in the Lord through praise and worship. My prayer for you today is based on 1 Peter 5:7, That you would cast the whole of your care (all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all) on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. REACHING THE WORLD FOR CHRIST

For over 40 years, this ministry has endeavored to do its part in reaching the lost worldwide. We have literally circled the globe countless times, preaching the gospel in North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Africa, India, Asia, Australia and the islands of the sea! Countless thousands have come to Christ, and only heaven will be able to give an accurate count. We give glory to God for His grace throughout the years for us to continue to go. Our most recent trip was to the South American nation of Brazil. Pastor Scarlett and I travelled over 2,000 miles by automobile, preaching 23 services in 19 locations, and ending at a huge rally hosted by the ministry of Missionary RR Soares and the International Church of the Grace of God. The event was located at Botofogo Beach in the City of Rio de Janiero with over 150,000 in attendance. The President of Brazil was at the event as well as the Mayor of Rio, and several members of the Congress and Federal judges, all rejoicing and singing praises to our God. The President declared, “Brazil belongs to Jesus!” (PICTURED TO THE LEFT)
Everywhere we went, the auditoriums were packed to full capacity, even to the extent of standing room only, with the back doors open and more people standing outside all the way to the curb. This is truly a nation in the midst of an awakening to God. Older mature people were standing right next to teenagers worshipping God with abandon. There were no special effect lighting or smoke machines, no singers with tattoos or shredded jeans and dreadlocks. Just everyday people hungry for God. Thousands and thousands of them. And the result? Hundreds of salvations, verifiable healings, and signs and wonders all wrought in the Name of Jesus. Many filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking with tongues, and no one left the building offended or afraid. I believe that Mark 16:15-20 is the mandate for the church to reach the world.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Pastor Scarlett and I are doing all we can to fulfill our part in this Great Commission. If you are a partner with Horton Ministries, then you will receive credit for every soul saved and every body healed. As Paul stated, “not that we desire a gift, but that fruit may abound to your account” (Philippians 4:17). Vol.2

Let’s keep sending and going into all the world. Even with the loss of time we’ve experienced this year due to the global pandemic, I still believe that 2020 is going to be the most fruitful year yet, in every area, including souls saved, people healed, finances and every other area. I believe that the devil fully intended to cripple the church through the events that have recently unfolded, but that in reality he has simply awakened the sleeping giant. Let’s make sure we ARE fully awake, and not miss this great opportunity. When governments, medicine, and Wall Street fail, people of all walks of life are looking for an answer and a savior. Thank God we know who He is and we know how to introduce Him to people. This is the time to “let God arise and His enemies be scattered.” LET’S BE A PART OF THE “ARISING”! 3 | PAGE

WE ARE OVERCOMERS! Walking by Faith in Our Day
Trusting in the Lord during life’s challenging times helps us in many ways. First, God responds to faith and changes things. Secondly, His peace keeps us in serenity and joy. As we cast our cares upon Him, He works out the impossible situations that we face.
Here are some scriptures to meditate on and to declare in your life: Psalm 91 ESV
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
