Vent de changement au Fluide

Le bar à jus Fluide est une aventure qui a commencé il y a vingt ans lorsque Marie-Claude Larivée a quitté l’enseignement de la chimie pour s’offrir le milieu de travail de ses rêves. Le 13 mars 2000, la jeune femme d’affaires (et nouvelle maman!) ouvrait le premier bar à jus au Québec avec l’intention de créer un « lieu d’appartenance à Tremblant ».

Un début difficile

Après quelques années à frôler la faillite, le soleil a finalement percé les nuages. Marie-Claude considère que le comptoir extérieur, où sont pressées des limonades fraîches en été, a sauvé l’entreprise en attirant de nouveaux clients. La multiplication d’événements sportifs à Tremblant, tels que Spartan Race, Ironman et Wanderlust, a aussi été un élément salvateur. À la recherche d’un mode de vie santé, les athlètes trouvent au Fluide un carburant de première qualité, chaque base de jus étant extraite sur place.

L’humain avant tout

Pendant ses vingt ans à la barre du Fluide, Marie-Claude a tissé des liens authentiques avec ses clients, dont plusieurs sont devenus ses amis. Suivant son inspiration, elle prenait la liberté de donner des jus gratuits aux aînés, de choyer ses employées et de commanditer des athlètes locaux. Elle se souvient de Philippe Langevin lorsqu’il était jeune ado et qu’il faisait le plein d’énergie au Fluide avant d’aller s’entraîner dans le parc, skis sur l’épaule et pelle à la main.

Une nouvelle ère

Depuis le 1er décembre 2019, le bar à jus Fluide a un nouveau propriétaire, William Azeff, qui administre cette entreprise familiale avec son épouse. Leur intention première est la continuité.

« Nous voulons respecter l’héritage du Fluide, qui est la place pour la nourriture végétarienne et les boissons santé à Tremblant », précise M. Azeff. Il promet à la clientèle fidèle les mêmes recettes, une équipe accueillante et une présence positive au Centre de villégiature.

The juice bar Fluide is an adventure that began 20 years ago when MarieClaude Larivée left a career teaching chemistry to become part of the workplace of her dreams. On March 13, 2000, the young businesswoman (and new mother) opened the first juice bar in Quebec with the objective of creating a "place of belonging at Tremblant".

Difficult beginning

After a few years of near bankruptcy, the juice bar finally saw the sun break through. Marie-Claude believes that the outdoor counter, where fresh lemonade is pressed in summer, saved the business by attracting new customers. The growth in sporting events at Tremblant, such as the Spartan race, Ironman and Wanderlust, were also a saving grace. As they sought a healthy lifestyle, the athletes found at Fluide a top quality fuel, with each juice base extracted fresh on-site.

The human element comes first

During her twenty years at the Fluide bar, Marie-Claude has created authentic bonds with her customers, many of whom have become her friends. Following her own Inspiration, she took the liberty of giving free juice to seniors, as well as pampering her employees and sponsoring local athletes. She remembers when Philippe Langevin was just a young teen and topped up his energy at Fluide before heading for the park to train, skis on his shoulder and shovel in hand.

A new era

Since December 1, 2019, the Fluide juice bar has had a new owner, William Azeff, who runs the family business with his wife. Their first intention is continuity. "We want to respect the Fluide heritage, which is of being the place for vegetarian food and health drinks at Tremblant," Mr. Azeff explains. He promises the loyal clientele the same recipes, a welcoming team and a positive presence at the Resort.
