Van 5 t/m 7 mei wordt voor de zesde maal The Amsterdam Trail gehouden, een unieke formule. De route, die etnografica combineert met hedendaagse kunst, loopt dit jaar rond de Spiegelgracht, het Amstelveld en in de Jordaan. Tijdens The Amsterdam Trail ontstaan onverwachte combinaties die dwars door tijd en oorsprong heen gaan: werken van bijna 3000 jaar vóór Christus tot aan nu; van Egyptische mummies tot de nieuwste video’s. For the 6th consecutive year, The Amsterdam Trail will take place from the 5th-7th of May. The Trail, a truly unique concept, is a walking route through Amsterdam’s much loved Spiegel Quarter, Amstelveld and the Jordaan and combines tribal and contemporary art. During the Amsterdam Trail unexpected combinations through time and origin can be found: objects from 3000 BC to present, from Egyptian mummies to the latest contemporary videos.
