Base Camp (ages 6-9) will introduce kids to the sport of climbing by teaching climbing basics. We will cover risk management, knot tying, and an introduction to climbing routes. The campers will improve their climbing skill and confidence through a variety of activities and games. Peak Experience (ages 10-12) will explore more climbing techniques, including knot tying, belaying, ascending, and rappelling. The campers will learn to belay one another on the first day, which will allow them to more independently pursue individual climbing projects. They will leave with an increased confidence and a greater appreciation for the sport of rock climbing. High Summit Adventure (ages 13-16) will learn fundamentals of advanced climbing, including, technique and movement, rope management skills, and technical knowledge.
