Fleece Hat
It’s going to be getting cold outside, come make a warm fleece hat. Choose from a couple of different styles to make. You don’t have to know how to sew. Fall River Cruise
Join your friends from around the state as we take a 2 hour narrated cruise of the Mississippi River and view the beautiful fall colors. We will cruise aboard the Anson and Betsey Northrup Paddle boats up the river from downtown St. Paul through the Great River National Park to Fort Snelling. We will depart from Harriet Island, located across the river from downtown St. Paul. A Box lunch with flatbread sandwich, salad, fruit, dessert and beverage is included. Please indicate sandwich choice when registering: TURKEY, HAM, ROAST BEEF OR GRILLED VEGGIES with CHEESE. Gluten Free and Vegetarian selections available upon request. Stoplight Nutrition
Come join us and learn some simple ways to eat healthier by using the traffic light as a guide! This class uses hands-on and visual tools for identifying foods that are a ‘go’ (green light), foods to slow down with (yellow light), and foods to stop, rethink, and see if there is a better alternative (red light). Class will conclude with everyone preparing a healthy snack to enjoy together. ACCESS PROJECT PROGRAM INFORMATION
• Photo Waiver: Photographs, videos and other documentation taken at school or Community Education activities may be submitted to newspapers, used on district website, social media sites or appear in publications. Check the box in the registration form if you do not want pictures published. • These activities have been customized for adults with developmental disabilities. • Besides Branchout Hangout, pre-registration is required for all classes. Please return the registration form or call 651-403-8313 to register. • Please indicate any accommodations needed to effectively participate when registering for an activity. • Participants who require one-on-one personal attention for physical and/or behavior issues or medication administration must be supervised by a caregiver. If a behavioral incident occurs, a caregiver may be required to accompany the participant to all future activities. • Classes will be held at the date, time and location listed unless you are notified that they are canceled, changed or full. • Transportation to and from activities is the responsibility of the participant or caregiver. • Participants must be accompanied to the classroom and should check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the listed start time and should be picked up promptly at the listed end time. If participants are not picked up promptly, a caregiver may be required to accompany the participant to all future activities. • All Access Project activities are sponsored by ISD 197 so there is no tobacco or alcohol allowed. • Refunds will only be given for cancellations received seven days before an activity.

Special Needs Planning For Caretakers
Make sure your disabled child, adult or family member has a strong financial plan to cover their care needs by implementing your wishes for their future. Come to this class and learn about the Special Needs Trust as a solution to ensure current caregiver’s principals are communicated in the future. We’ll also be running a fun activity at the same time for Access Project participants.
