Teleconference Presentations and Classes...What is this? A teleconference class or presentation means you will be listening and interacting (if you choose) with the presenter who will be at a distant location. You will be able to watch the presenter in “live time on a screen at TPAC. You will be able to hear the presenter through speakers in the room. If you want to ask a question or make a comment to the speaker, you simply speak up and the presenter will be able to hear you and respond immediately to your question or comment. This is an exciting way to bring presentations and information to you in West St Paul from anywhere in the world. The financial resources to acquire the video conferencing equipment was provided by two various generous donations: $1,000 by Dr. John Hall and $860 by the South St. Paul Lions Club.

Grotto of the Redemption
Our first stop is for coffee & rolls in Albert Lea. Next stop is West Bend, Iowa at the Grotto of the Redemption, to witness “A Miracle in Stone.” We will have a guided tour of the grounds. Grotto of the Redemption is a composite of nine separate Grottos, each portraying a scene in the life of Christ. The Grotto includes the largest collection of precious stones and gems found anywhere in one location. It is frequently considered as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." The magnificent structure of the Grotto covers more than one city block and includes hand-carved Italian marble statues, petrified wood, quartz crystals and semi-precious stones from around the world. The guide will also talk about the church, Saint Peter and Paul's Church. After the guided tour, guests can take time for a self-guided tour through the museum. We will have lunch in the Grotto Cafeteria. Menu: Marinated Chicken Breast.
