Performed by students in Grades 6-12 SSP Theatre presents its 6th annual one acts festival. This year the theme is farce comedies. Prepare to laugh uproariously as we pull out every classic gag in the book. People hit with sausages? Check. Mistaken identities? Check. Someone slipping on a banana peel? You’ll have to watch the show to find out!
Spring Senior High Play April 8 & 9 at 7 pm / April 10 at 2 pm Romeo and Juliet
Performed by students in Grades 9-12 Perhaps William Shakespeare’s best know and loved tragedies comes to the SSP stage this spring. Verona is besieged by the senseless feud of two warring families. In the midst of this chaos two young people from opposite sides of the conflict fall in love with each other. A classic love story, but also so much more!
Spring Jr. High Play May 20 & 21 at 7 pm Exposed! - The True Story

Feb 4, 5 & 6 at 7pm / Feb 7 at 2 pm The Lottery
This unusual play has proven so successful it has become an internationally known classic. The play starts as people are assembling for the lottery. What family will it be this time? Which member? Only gradually do we begin to suspect the true nature of the lottery as the play builds swiftly to its crucial and moving climax.
Take Five
Imagine you are an actor on opening night, acting on a set that is not completed. Actors who don’t show up. Props either don’t work or are missing, lighting and sound cues are all off and two silly incompetent stages hands do their worst. This award winning show is filled with surprises, zany characters and pure entertainment.
Spring Musical - Into the Woods April 21-23 at 7 pm / April 24 at 2 pm The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make. James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless yet relevant piece and rare modern classic. The TONY Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching. The story follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King's Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. One of Sondheim’s most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated show!

Great Decisions
Get involved and influence US Policy Decisions
Each year the US Foreign Policy Association (FPA) selects eight critical topics for study. They prepare a briefing book and a DVD on each subject. Our format is to read the article in the book before coming, then, view the video and discuss the topic. After the discussion, each participant may fill out an opinion ballot. The FPA summarizes the opinion ballots and shares the information with the President and other Federal agencies. 2nd Monday of the month, Jan 11, Feb 8, March 14, April 11 1296-W16

Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer’s sparkling new score does for the ‘80s what Hairspray did for the ‘60s. Just say yes to the most romantic musical in 20 years. It’s 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party, until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever. Early Childhood Screening is required for kindergarten entrance All 3 to 5 year old children in Minnesota are required to complete an Early Childhood Screening to determine if they need additional support or services to prepare them for kindergarten. Early Childhood Screening is a free and simple check of your child’s vision, hearing, height, weight and development as well as a brief review of health history and immunizations.
We recommend that children be screened between their 3rd and 4th birthdays. This helps ensure that all young children are well equipped for learning, and that families are aware of resources in the school and community. The screening tools are designed to provide a snapshot of your child’s motor, thinking, speech and language skills. The results are based on your child’s age at the time of the screening. Your child should be screened in the attendance area in which you live.
