ANNUAL REPORT

History In September 2013, we opened our doors to an inaugural ninth grade class of 30 promising female students. Eighty students attended Trinity Hall during the 2014-2015 school year in grades 9 and 10.
Mission Trinity Hall is an innovative, independent all-girls college preparatory high school educating and empowering young women in the Catholic tradition. Trinity Hall’s core values of leadership, respect, perseverance, and faith are foundational to our mission and work as educators. In a technology-rich learning environment, a superior faculty and a challenging interdisciplinary curricular program fosters leadership, respect, perseverance, and faith. Unique and exciting co-curricular learning opportunities accommodate a diverse, yet a collectively passionate, creative, and caring student body. These young women will be empowered to take risks, pursue personal passions, network globally, and grow as learners – and as valued individuals.
Core Values TRINITY HALL STUDENTS: Commit to leadership by taking responsibility and initiative, serving as courageous, confident and considerate role-models who lead with passion and vision. Understand the importance of respect in regard to their community, each other and themselves. They act with dignity, loyalty, justice, pride and compassion. Exhibit perseverance by overcoming challenges to achieve success and by viewing failures as necessary learning experiences. They are persistent and determined to push beyond obstacles to meet goals. Embrace and demonstrate their faith in God, which forms the basis for their relationship within the community. Their faithbased education lets them celebrate their differences, accept each other and serve others in need.

L ET T ER F ROM
the Head of School Dear Friends and Family of Trinity Hall, As I sit down to write this letter I find my heart full of gratitude. I am grateful for the overwhelmingly generous nature of the Trinity Hall community. In every way, our community has shown that we are “all in” – donating time, talents and treasures – our community demonstrates a spirit of generosity that is unmatched. Together, we are accomplishing a unique achievement: we are building a school from the ground up. Your support makes a tremendous impact. I am grateful for our students, who inspire me each day. Our second school year saw great growth and great promise. We added a new class and had a total student body more than double in size. The classrooms were filled with even more collaboration, more learning, more ideas, and more laughter. Trinity Hall girls are women of unlimited (and great) promise with the strength of character to change the world. Most important, these girls are engaged and invested in our community as evidenced by the 100% student participation in the annual fund for both the Class of 2017 and the Class of 2018. We are proud of our first students – young women who are ready to meet the challenges of a global world and stand firm as leaders.
Finally, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Head of this special and prestigious school. Trinity Hall is a school designed especially for girls and the way they learn best. In a supportive and caring environment, our students are immersed in a rigorous academic program complete with interactive technology, interdisciplinary projects, STEM courses, and learning experiences that prepare them for the demands of the 21st century and beyond. Trinity Hall students think critically and creatively, solve problems, collaborate effectively, communicate with strength, and adapt to the ever-changing technical demands of this century. By staying true to our core values of leadership, respect, perseverance, and faith, we are building a community of young women who will become leaders and living examples of the benefit of a value-based learning environment. For as long as I am here, I will remain “all in.”
On behalf of Trinity Hall, thank you for your support. With much gratitude,
Mary R. Mahon Sciarrillo Head of School

LETTER FROM The Chair Dear Friends and Family of Trinity Hall, It is with great pleasure that this message reaches you as Trinity Hall welcomes its third new class of ninth grade students! Our founding Board of Trustees and school leadership came together several years ago with a shared vision of an academically rigorous college preparatory high school for girls, grounded in the values of the Catholic faith. As we set out to make Trinity Hall a reality, we found a groundswell of support from individuals who have long viewed this as a necessary educational option in our area. We have been truly humbled as our community continues to grow in size and strength with each passing year. I am extremely proud of the great success we have enjoyed in our earliest years and I look forward to the tremendous potential Trinity Hall has for its future. This school exists because of those listed on the pages that follow. I do not have words of gratitude commensurate with the amount of support Trinity Hall has received, so please accept my heartfelt appreciation. We are on this exciting journey together and are so very grateful for your continued support. You have been instrumental in creating the foundation for an educational institution that will impact the lives of generations of young female leaders. Be proud to be part of such a worthy endeavor! All the best,
Sean Clifford Chair, Board of Trustees

L ET T ER FROM
the Development Chair Dear Friends and Family of Trinity Hall,
“If you are successful, it is because somewhere, sometime, someone gave you a life or an idea that started you in the right direction.”
- Melinda Gates
Trinity Hall’s Inaugural Gala was an overwhelming success through the collective effort of hundreds of individuals. We promised the event of the season and we delivered. From the food to the flowers, from the décor to the dancing, the evening was a tour de force, evidence of what this community will do to support our beloved school. Every gift is important, and your generosity, whether as a donor or supporting the event behind the scenes, allowed us to exceed our campaign goals and expand our community. Thank you for being a part of this momentous occasion. The Gala was more than just a great party; we joined together in our goal to build the new home for Trinity Hall. The founding Board of Trustees gave us a great start and has completed the hardest part of this project – getting the school off the ground. This is the year we set down permanent roots, and we cannot do it alone. Schools are rarely built from the ground up. What better way to make your mark in history than by taking advantage of our unique naming opportunities? Your continued support of Trinity Hall will live on through the school for the next century and beyond. Thank you for making our Inaugural Gala an evening to remember. Together we are changing the landscape of education for girls. Sincerely,
Victoria Gmelich Vice Chair, Board of Trustees Development Chair
