Construction Wales Innovation Centre
Construction Wales Innovation Centre (CWIC) is a purpose built and unique facility, based at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Swansea Innovation Quarter.
Funded in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), this £6.5 million landmark centre opened in October 2018 and offers the welsh construction industry exceptional learning and conferencing facilities across its 3 floors.

Ground Floor The ConstructZone can be used for a wide variety of practical purposes. Features: • a well-equipped workshop with a range of high-quality machines; • equipment for practical construction raining and engagements; • audio-visual conferencing technology; • hand washing facilities; • a mezzanine runs along the room providing an excellent viewing gallery.
Possible Uses: • product demonstrations; • exhibitions; • small conferences; • school visits.

First Floor The DigitalZone provides excellent computing facilities which focus on digital construction. • 12 high specification computing consoles;
The LearningZone is a light and versatile meeting/classroom. • use as 1 large meeting room or; • divided into 2 rooms;

Second Floor The OpenZone is an informal meeting place with kitchen facilities and views over Swansea docks. Features: • 6 Hot desks with power, data and guest access to Wi-Fi • kitchen facilities • lockers • 4-person acoustic pod • boardroom that seats up to 12 • touchscreen technology
