6th Season | West Scotland, 2010 East Kilbride, Scotland | Hired June 30, 2015 Neil Harrow begins his sixth season at Troy in 2020-21 as an assistant coach. In his first five seasons with the Trojans, Harrow has helped guide the Trojans to three Sun Belt Championships and four Post Season berths including two NCAA Tournament appearances. Harrow, who works with all aspects of the team, has been a vital part in creating a championship culture within the Troy women’s basketball program. During his time at Troy, Harrow has helped lead the Trojans to back-to-back Sun Belt Tournament Championships (‘16 & ‘17) as well as their first-ever Sun Belt Regular Season Crown in 2020 as well as appearances in the WNIT and WBI tournaments. Since Harrow’s first season in 2015-16, he has helped guide student-athletes to nine All-Sun Belt honors including three first team honors. Harrow has been instrumental in the development in numerous student-athletes including Ashley Beverly Kelley, who was a three-time All-Sun Belt Performer (2013-16) and a back-to-back first team honoree, Sky’Lynn Holmes, who earned the SBC Newcomer of the Year (2017-18) and Defensive Player of the Year (2018-19) and many others.

leading to promotion into the “Nivel B” league. The following year he served in a dual role as head coach of the U16 boys’ team and assistant coach for the U21 men’s team. During his time in Barcelona, Harrow also served as a youth development coach at the Benjamin Franklin International School and the American School of Barcelona. He also served as a coach at the Jordan Brand Invitational in Barcelona. Harrow joins Houston Baptist head coach Donna Finnie and assistant coach Becca Allison as the only three Scotland natives coaching in NCAA women’s basketball. A native of East Kilbride in Scotland, Harrow earned a bachelor’s degree in sports coaching and physiology from the University of the West of Scotland in 2010.
Prior to arriving at Troy, Harrow spent two seasons at Valdosta State as a graduate assistant coach (2013-15) and two seasons coaching the men’s basketball program at F.C Martinenc in Barcelona, Spain (2011-13) where he was the head coach of the U18 boys’ team in 2011-12. He guided the team to a 24-2 record and a championship in the Catalan “Nivel C” league,

During Harrow’s tenure at Troy, the Trojans have consistently ranked at, or near the top, in numerous statistical categories. Between 2017-20, Troy has led the country in multiple rebounding categories. On top of being the nation’s best rebounding team, Troy has also been one of the best at scoring points, finishing in the top 10 every season since 2015-16 and finishing no lower than 16th since the 2013-14 season. Since his first season in 2015-16, Troy has led the Sun Belt in scoring average per game.
