This may include finding a Bible study class, showing you where children and student ministries meet, or sharing the day’s activities and schedule. You may also enjoy a cup of coffee at the Welcome Center’s coffee bar and get to know others at Second. Children’s worship bags filled with books and activities are available at the Sanctuary entrances. If you’d like an alternative for your children, childcare for birth through Pre-K is available on Level 2 at any point in the service. Our Welcome Center is also available for those with restless infants, and you can view the service on a monitor there. In addition to placing your offering in the offering plate, you can give online at 2bcliberty.org/give or via your smartphone by scanning this QR code. We have “online giving” cards in the pew rack that you can place in the offering plate to represent your gift if you choose.

WORSHIP LEADERS TODAY Christy Edwards is married to Pastor Jason Edwards. They have three children: Jackson, Luke, and Norah. Christy is in CPE chaplaincy program at St Luke's Hospital. She is a member of MOPS and is Chair of the CBF Missions Council. Becky Gossett has been a member of Second for more than 20 years. She is on the board of Second Friends Preschool, a member of the Sanctuary Choir, and a member of the Deacon Baptism Task Force. She and Bill have three children. Brandon Greason has been attending Second since returning to Liberty in 2000 to attend William Jewell College. He is employed with the North Kansas City School District. Gary Smith joined Second in 1995. He and Debra have three children: Amanda, Matthew and Emily. He has worked in the telecommunications industry for 25 years. He previously taught Middle School Sunday School and was a part of the 2BC radio ministry for 11 years Aiden Velder is a fourth grader at Northland Christian School. He is the son of Mandy and Mike Velder. Mark Wingfield has served Wilshire Baptist Church as associate pastor for 13 years. He came to Wilshire after a 21-year career in denominational journalism. He also works closely with Wilshire’s pastoral residency program, of which Jason Edwards is an alumnus. Mark and his wife, Alison, have been married since 1985 and have twin boys, Luke and Garrett, who are professional jazz musicians.

DONATE TO THE 2BC MARATHON TEAM The Kansas City Marathon is Oct. 15, and this year a 2BC team of Erin Hilton, Laura Searcy, Michelle Prindle, Jeff and Michelle Grace, Jeff and Susan Goertz, Christy Edwards, Blane Baker, Amon Wooldridge, and Mike Lassiter will run to raise awareness and funds for World Vision to provide clean water to parts of Africa where they have a presence. By using local involvement, creative methods like cisterns, wells, and aboveground pipelines are agreed upon and implemented for clean, safe water to be delivered. World Vision says that every $50 raised provides water for one person for life. They are the largest non -government provider of clean water in the developing world—reaching one new person with clean water every 30 seconds. This is the book deacons studied two years ago, and we believe it provides excellent information to further the conversation.
