It’s Commitment Sunday! It’s all been leading to this...the day when we get to make our commitments to be catalysts for God’s dreams to come true through our church. Our goal is for our 2BC family to generously commit to giving $2.3 million dollars over the next two years. We hope you have prayerfully considered what part God wants you to play! If you haven’t already, please fill out the commitment card found in the Catalyst Ministry Plan Overview booklet (or there are extras in the pew trays and at the entrances to the Sanctuary). During the services, there will be a time for you to come forward and place your commitment cards in the boxes at the front of the Sanctuary. Catalyst 2.0 Budget Q & A Session Today | Oct. 26 | 4:00 p.m. | Assembly Room 301 Join Jason Edwards and 2BC Treasurer, Lyndell Brenton, for a 2BC 2014-2016 Ministry Plan Budget Q&A. Jason will review the key initiatives and ongoing budget commitments and they will answer any questions you may have on the proposed ministry plan budget for the next 24 month period. Bring your questions and join us so you’ll be prepared for the Church Conference vote on Sunday, November, 2.
GaP 3.0 | Oct. 29 | 6:30 p.m. A Voice for the Voiceless Jesus always advocated for the powerless and disadvantaged. As His disciples, how do we follow His example in the world today? What are issues in our world that Jesus would speak to through us? Our panel will explore some of their own passions about issues, what they have done and ways we could be a voice for the voiceless. If the Royals are playing, stay after for a watch party in the Social Room!
All Saints’ Day | Nov. 2 | in both worship services At 2BC, All Saints’ Day is an occasion to remember loved ones who have died during the last year. This year All Saints’ Day will be Nov. 2. At the worship service of your choice (8:30 am or 11:00 a.m.), you or another person of your choice will have the opportunity to place a rose on our Lord’s Supper table in memory of your loved one. The roses are a gift from our congregation; you do not need to bring a rose with you. Tickets On Sale Now | Meal is Nov. 19 | 6:00–7:15 p.m. | Heritage Hall, Liberty Tickets are on sale now for our Church Family Thanksgiving meal! During this annual event, we celebrate together and express our thanks to God for the community we share with each other as we walk with Christ in our world.

Be Involved in Trunk ‘R Treat Trunk ‘R Treat is a great opportunity to reach out to our community by providing a fun and safe place for the neighborhood kids to trick-or-treat. But it only works if our church family is involved!
Here’s what you can do: Provide a trunk: If you’d like to decorate your car’s trunk and hand out candy on Halloween night, contact Maggie Henderson at mhenderson@2bcliberty.org or 816-781-2324. Provide candy: We’ll need lots of candy to hand out! Bring donations to the church office. (No candy with nuts, please!) Invite friends: Postcards are available in the Welcome Center for you to use to invite friends to come with you!
