We at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center are getting ready for our incredible 42nd season and hope you will plan to spend as much time as possible seeing some of the best entertainment in the world. The TPAC is fortunate to have longtime community partners presenting world-class talent in our various theatres. Celebrity Attractions will be bringing you another stellar Broadway lineup which includes Wicked and Hamilton! Our own Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera and Tulsa Symphony continue to present the best that their specific genres have to offer in Chapman Music Hall. Our local theatre companies—American Theatre Company, Sand Springs Community Theatre, Theatre North, Theatre Tulsa and Tulsa Project Theatre—keep the Second Street theatres full of energy, presenting a myriad of titles featuring the region’s finest actors. And we certainly cannot forget about Chamber Music Tulsa, Tulsa Town Hall, Choregus Productions and the Tulsa PAC Trust for continuing to bring imaginative and forward-thinking lectures, plays and concerts to our facility. It is the goal of the TPAC staff that we partner with each of these companies to give you the very best experience possible. Customer service will continue to be our number-one priority. Call the Tulsa PAC ticket office at 918-596-7111. Nominal service charges are added to all phone and internet orders. The ticket office accepts Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Tickets can be bought online at TULSAPAC.COM. Tickets can be printed at home or sent to your cell phone. The ticket office gladly exchanges tickets to events with more than one performance, subject to certain guidelines. Otherwise, all sales are final.

All Tulsa PAC facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities. Please ask about wheelchair-accessible seating when purchasing your ticket. Parking is located on the street level of the parking garage near the PAC elevators. Use the south elevator to reach Chapman Music Hall. Restroom facilities are located in the Third Street Lobby and Promenade for Chapman Music Hall events and adjacent to the John H. Williams Theatre Lobby for events in the PAC’s other theatres. Headsets and telecoil units for the Sennheiser infrared hearing assistance system in Chapman Music Hall may be picked up at the Coat Check in the Third Street Lobby for Chapman events or from the House Manager on duty in the Williams Lobby for John H. Williams and Liddy Doenges Theatre events.

Convenient underground parking is located west of the building, accessed from a one-way street going east on Second Street. Event parking is also available in several lots across the street to the east and south of the PAC.

Lobby doors open two hours prior to an event. Theatres open 30 minutes before curtain. Late seating is at the discretion of each presenter. Latecomers may be temporarily held out of the theatre or asked to take seats at the back, if available.

Aug. 3-12 SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE American Theatre Company Penniless and indebted to two demanding producers, struggling young playwright William Shakespeare is tormented by writer’s block until he meets the beautiful Viola de Lesseps, daughter of a wealthy merchant, whose fiery passion for poetry and drama leaves her secretly longing to be an actor. Will it all work out in the end or are the two star-crossed lovers destined for tragedy?

Aug. 4 50 YEARS OF BOLLYWOOD South Asian Performing Arts Foundation Samir Date and Dipalee Somaiya Date, billed as “India’s favorite singer couple,” are award-winning Bollywood playback vocalists, singers who record songs for movie soundtracks. In 50 Years of Bollywood, the duo will sing old favorites as well as the latest hits from the Hindilanguage film industry. Aug. 10-26 NEWSIES Theatre Tulsa They delivered the news – until they made it! The Tulsa local theatre premiere of the toe-tapping Disney Broadway hit is based on the real-life New York Newsboys Strike of 1899. When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what’s right. It’s an inspiring and visually stunning spectacle for the whole family.

Aug. 17-26 THE WIZARD OF OZ Encore Tulsa Embark on a magical journey to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz with Dorothy and her friends Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. This exciting Encore! production combines the classic story with action, adventure, and a few comical twists and surprises. Join us and fall in love with this beloved classic all over again!
Sept. 5-23 WICKED Celebrity Attractions Long before Dorothy arrived, there was another young woman in the Land of Oz. Born with emerald-green skin, Elphaba is smart, fiery and misunderstood and possesses an extraordinary talent. Her initial rivalry with a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular turns into the unlikeliest of friendships – until the world decides to call one “good” and the other one “wicked.” Sept. 7 PIAF: NO REGRETS Choregus Productions Broadway star and two-time Tony nominee Christine Andreas celebrates French chanteuse Edith Piaf in this one-woman cabaret show. Piaf was a singer, songwriter and film actress who was one of her country’s most widely known international stars until her death in 1963. Andreas tells stories about Piaf’s life and performs her signature songs, including “La Vie en Rose” and “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien.” Sept. 23 MONTROSE TRIO Chamber Music Tulsa In 2013, acclaimed pianist Jon Kimura Parker joined musical forces with violinist Martin Beaver and cellist Clive Greensmith, formerly of the renowned Tokyo String Quartet, to form the Montrose Trio. Their combined artistry redefines “extraordinary,” as recently heard in stunning performances in Santa Fe and New York City. On the program are works by Haydn, Mendelssohn and Arensky.
OC Sept. 28 DIARY OF A WORM, A SPIDER AND A FLY Tulsa PAC Trust Imagination Series Kids of all ages will love this rock-nroll romp in a big bug’s world. Is Spider getting too big for his own skin? Will Fly find her superhero powers in time to save her Aunt Rita from danger? Will Worm learn to stand on his own two feet – even though he doesn’t have feet? This delightful musical celebrates diversity while also teaching about the fascinating world of bugs. Turns out, a bug’s life isn’t all that different from your own! Sept. 29 BLACK VIOLIN Innovation Arts & Entertainment Black Violin is a mash-up of classical, hip-hop, rock and R&B featuring the classically trained violin duo of Kevin “Kev Marcus” Sylvester and Wilner “Wil” Baptiste. The lauded company is sending satire down the conveyor belt and celebrating what makes us all tick in a hilarious revue that will leave you breathlessly ready to face the future…and all its loose screws. Fresh, fast and always spectacularly funny ,The Second City is celebrating nearly 60 years of producing cuttingedge satirical revues and launching the careers of generation after generation of comedy’s best and brightest. Oct. 5 VICENTE FOX Tulsa Town Hall Vicente Fox, president of Mexico from 2000 to 2006, is a leading voice on geopolitics, immigration, trade and labor within the Americas. Fox’s book Let’s Move On: Beyond Fear and False Prophets discusses the state of American politics with a call to unity. His Centro Fox Foundation serves to promote income equality, education and fair government. Oct. 5-13 THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW Tulsa Project Theatre One fateful night, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss innocently set out to visit an old professor. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm and flat tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank N. Furter, a mad scientist and manic genius with an insatiable libido. A loving homage to the classic B sci-fi and horror film genres with an irresistible rock-n-roll score, The Rocky Horror Show is a hilarious, wild ride. Let’s do “The Time Warp” again!
TESLA QUARTET CHAMBER MUSIC TULSA residency and concert weekend in 2013. The quartet has since polished its reputation for excellence through extensive touring and teaching and winning accolades at major international competitions. This concert features music by Caroline Shaw, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Lev “Ljova” Zhurbin. Oct. 19 & 21 THE BARBER OF SEVILLE Tulsa Opera Rossini’s The Barber of Seville is a relentlessly madcap pursuit of love through twists and turns, hidden motives and true intentions. Tenor Aaron Blake returns as Count Almaviva, an aristocrat who falls in love with the lovely Rosina, portrayed by soprano Sarah Coburn. Completing the love triangle is Oklahoman Peter Strummer, who plays “a delightfully pompous Dr. Bartolo,” according to A&E Classical. Oct. 20 10 HAIRY LEGS Choregus Productions This all-male repertory dance company has commissioned works from choreographers Doug Varone, Doug
Oct. 6 OPENING NIGHT GALA WITH CELLIST LYNN HARRELL Tulsa Symphony World-renowned cellist Lynn Harrell joins the Tulsa Symphony to perform Dvorák’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in B minor. Led by Principal Guest Conductor Daniel Hege, the orchestra will also present exuberant selections from works by Leonard Bernstein to celebrate the centennial of the composer’s birth. Those works include Candide, On the Town and Divertimento for Orchestra. Oct. 14 TESLA QUARTET Chamber Music Tulsa Tulsa fell in love with the Tesla Quartet during their weeklong community

In 2016, 10 Hairy Legs was the only American dance company appearing at the Ikapa Dance Festival in Cape Town, SA. The company returns for their third Tulsa performance after crowd-pleasing performances in 2016 and 2017.
Oct. 26 ARCATTACK Tulsa PAC Trust Imagination Series Creators of the original Singing Tesla Coil, the crew of ArcAttack use their high-tech wizardry to generate a truly “electrifying” performance. Combining their love of rock music with their love of science, the group invites the audience to explore concepts such as electricity, voltage and current, magnetism, robotics and lightning through a show that’s both entertaining and interactive. Oct. 26-28 DRACULA Tulsa Ballet Ben Stevenson’s “ghoulishly entertaining” (Tulsa World) gothic ballet returns to Tulsa for the first time in six years. Set to eerie music by Franz Liszt, including Dance of Death and the Mephisto Waltzes, and boasting aweinspiring theatrics, vampire brides who soar through the air, and an exploding chandelier, this dramatic production will have you at the edge of your seat. Oct. 26-Nov. 4 SOVEREIGNTY Heller Theatre Company Sovereignty, a play by Oklahoma native Mary Kathryn Nagle, revolves around Cherokee lawyer Sarah Ridge Polson’s battle to reinstate the Cherokee Nation’s sovereignty and jurisdiction. Polson also must face the ghosts of her ancestors and the struggles they faced when signing a decisive treaty that led to the removal of the Nation from their land. Oct. 27 AARON DIEHL Tulsa PAC Trust A 32-year-old classically trained pianist and composer, Aaron Diehl has made an indelible mark on the jazz world over the last 15 years. While showing a rare affinity for early jazz and mid-20th-century “third-stream” music, his latest evolution comes as he begins to tackle modern classical works. BARNUM THE MUSICAL THEATRE TULSA
Oct. 30-Nov. 4 LOVE NEVER DIES Celebrity Attractions The ultimate love story continues in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. Ten years after disappearing from the Paris Opera House, The Phantom has a new life in New York where he lives among the joy rides and freak shows of Coney Island. In a final bid to win back Christine’s love, The Phantom lures her, Raoul, and their young son to the glittering and glorious world of the amusement park.
Nov. 2-10 BARNUM THE MUSICAL Theatre Tulsa Step right up and feast your eyes on the unbelievable tale of circus man P.T. Barnum, the greatest showman! This 1980 musical, written by Mark Bramble with music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Michael Stewart, features touching tunes, dynamic dancing and incredible sights. It’s the greatest show on Earth! Nov. 11 BRENTANO QUARTET WITH VIOLIST HSIN-YUN HUANG Chamber Music Tulsa Hearing the Brentano Quartet in concert is a sublime experience. For more than 20 years, audiences have marveled at the quartet’s luxurious tone and focused intensity. The Brentano will perform Haydn’s Quartet in C Major and, with guest violinist Hsin-Yun Huang, Brahms’ Quintet in F Major and Mendelssohn’s Quintet in B-flat Major.
HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS – IN CONCERT WITH TULSA SYMPHONY Nov. 11 BRITTEN’S WAR REQUIEM Tulsa Symphony For this special Veteran’s Day concert, guest conductor James Bagwell passionately interprets one of the great defining masterworks of the 20th century: Benjamin Britten’s powerful War Requiem. Tulsa Symphony will be joined by Tulsa Oratorio Chorus and the University of Tulsa Concert Chorale and Symphony Orchestra with support from the Oklahoma Center for the Humanities in this Sunday afternoon concert. Nov. 13 DAVID SEDARIS Innovation Arts & Entertainment With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. Sedaris returns to the road following the release of his most deeply personal and darkly hilarious collection, Calypso. THE NUTCRACKER TULSA BALLET Nov. 16 LISA GENOVA Tulsa Town Hall Lisa Genova tells stories that are equally inspired by neuroscience and the human spirit. In her book Still Alice, adapted into a film starring Julianne Moore, Dr. Genova creates a hauntingly poignant portrait of Alzheimer’s disease. The Harvard medical professor and TED Talk speaker inspires us to take action to reduce the risks of this disease and provide encouragement to caregivers. Nov. 17 FAITH PRINCE: HAVE A LITTLE FAITH Tulsa PAC Trust Faith Prince has been dazzling Broadway audiences since winning the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. After they discover his lies, Ouisa and Flan piece together Paul’s true identity and their connection to him. It’s a heartwarming story about Scrooge, a lonely humbug who is given the rare chance to change his life and find his heart. Revisit or start your own family tradition this holiday season. Dec. 8-23 THE NUTCRACKER Tulsa Ballet A young girl’s fantasy unfolds in this remarkable production that mixes Broadway-style visuals with the heartwarming story of a fairytale Christmas. More than 100 local children join the professional company to help the larger-than-life Mouse King battle the Nutcracker Prince and his toy soldier brigade in Marcello Angelini’s version of the classic ballet set to music by Tchaikovsky.
