Educational Virtual Fireside History Talks How much do you know about Tumwater? In partnership with the Olympia Tumwater Foundation, we'll take you back in time to explore the rich history that makes Tumwater what it is today. Pre-registration is required. Virtual "Outdoor" Classes with David Kaynor Outdoor classes are taught by David Kaynor, member of the Washington Ornithological Society, the Geological Society of America, and the Planetary Society. All classes for ages 18 & up. Min/Max: 3/10 Winter Common Western Washington Birds Look at 30 of the most common bird species that are found in Western Washington in the winter. Lots of fun facts about each species. Suitable for anyone who loves birds.
15 Great Geological Features of Washington When it comes to Washington State, there is just too much to see. Topics will include the location of each feature and how it was formed. Handouts provided.

Mammals of Washington State Did you know that 28 marine and large mammals are found in WA State’s coastal waters? This class is a great starting place for anyone interested in nature and Washington's coastal environment. If it is a land mammal and is longer than 30”, we will talk about it! Bears, weasels, dogs, rodents, cats, and more are covered with lots of fun facts and just a little bit of humor. Handouts provided.

Dinosaurs of the Royal Tyrrell Museum

10 Great Lighthouses and Gardens of Washington State
