UCL best in city for grads to get jobs, study says University College London is the best university in the city for graduate employment, according to new rankings. The institution placed 17th in the world, putting it in the top 3 per cent of universities in the rankings, and 3rd in the UK, below the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. UCL careers director, Karen Barnard, said she is ‘delighted that UCL has been so highly ranked in the 2018 QS Employability Rankings.’ She added: ‘UCL graduates are some of the brightest and most sought after in the world, by employers across the sectors.’ QS ranked 500 institutions from across the globe taking into account each university’s employer reputation, alumni outcomes, partnerships with employers per faculty, connections between the students and employers and graduate employment rate. The highest ranking London institutions include Imperial, LSE, King’s College and City.
