petition on Change.org, calling for the university to make his vision a reality. He argued the massive space ‘could be used to much greater benefit for the student population’. Nearly 30 people have now signed the petition. The international business student told TUP: ‘It was just a crazy idea when I’d lost my mind, about 2,000 words into an assignment.’ He heard adrenaline helps focus the mind and said an indoor skydiving room might even help students prepare for exams. ‘I thought the petition would be a bit of a laugh but people have actually signed it,’ he added. ‘I think students would use a skydiving chamber all the time.’ Northumbria University declined to comment on the idea.
