Dan Anderson

As the sole shareholder and President of Diversified Supply, Inc. Mr. Anderson has played an integral part in the development and achievements that DSI is known for in the electrical distribution industry. He has forged profitable relationships with large multinationals corporations by offering quality services, growing product offerings, and exerting his associates to offer world class service.

Dan began to build his knowledge of the electrical industry when his career started as a Purchasing Agent purchasing electrical products for Tennessee Valley Authority from 1980 to 1982. Dan transitioned his career in late 1982 to pursue a position as a Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch. In May of 1989 Dan purchased the majority interest in DSI. After a successful tenure at Merrill Lynch, Dan joined DSI in 1990 as President and has maintained that post to present.

Dan is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College, earning a degree in Business Administration. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the College and has been elected as the Alumnus of the year in 2011, and elected to the College’s Sports Hall of Fame. Dan also has served on the Procter and Gamble Supplier Diversity Advisory Committee providing advice on how to grow P&G business with Diverse Companies.
