New Business:

DCA National Performance Judge Nominations

Cheryl brought up that there are very few Earthdog and Field Trial Judge nominations...there are several issues with low nominations, which may be attributed to not knowing event date/location, compensation, number of available judges, etc.

Sandy proposed that we update or change the Board’s previously posted position on discouraging Dachshund Racing events. Without

objection, the Board voted to rescind the policy on Dachshund Racing.

Dachshund Club of America Health & Welfare Trust

Denny reported a few updates for the DCA H&WT:

She has been checking the Canine Health Foundation & Morris Animal Foundation and there has not been any grants to give money to that are related to Dachshund issues.

Monies we get from Purina can be used for CHF donations OR Education. Monies in the H&WT can be spent on anything related to research, health or education.

Robert Schwalbe is now Treasurer.
