Thanks to judge Lynne Allen for recognizing Rendoni’s breathtaking beauty and for selecting him for this “dream come true” BISS national win! Wow!! What a memory!! Thanks also to judge David Peat for awarding Rendoni BOS the following day at DCA Week/CODC Host Show #2. What an honor! Rendoni is currently ranked #2 Owner-Handled Smooth Dachshund and #5 in Breed Rankings. He was Best of Opposite Sex at the 2022 Westminster Kennel Club Show at the Lyndhurst Estate this summer, shown beautifully by Tyler Mills to judge Lesley Hiltz. We are so proud of all that Rendoni has accomplished this year in these highly competitive venues. Rendoni has certainly come into his own as a three year old male. Watch for his lovely daughter, Onyx (TurningPt Black Onyx Cameo Appearance), later this year. She looks just like him and has his wonderful happy, sparkling personality.

We were thrilled with these wonderful wins. As you can see, it’s hard to tell these two boys apart. Thanks also to judge Richard Powell for finishing Minks at the July 2022 Houston Dachshund Club Specialty Show with this amazing WD/BOW/BOV/BOSB win, and to Tyler Mills and his talented Adagio team for finishing Grand Championships on both of these beautiful boys in less than two weeks. We’re so proud of all of you! Watch for them at upcoming specialty shows and in the All Breed ring. We’re hoping they will go far.
GCHB Turning First & Goal He Scores
Could not have been more proud of Coltz’ performance at 2022 DCA and Westminster. Although he did not earn any final placements, his outline and movement around the ring were superb. A real stand out. Coltz has been adopted by Joy and Brian Beckner, making him the luckiest dog on the planet! We are hoping he will be the model for future bronze sculptures for which Joy is so well known.

Twiggy is such a consistently good performer. She loves to show. Thanks to Lynne Allen who gave her an Award of Merit at the 2022 CODC Host Show #1 at DCA this year. Twiggy was shown by Barbara Waldkirch and Tracey Lancaster (pictured). Currently, Twiggy is enjoying Barn Hunt and Scent Work training. If we can find a willing handler, she will try her nose at Field Trials this fall. Twiggy is full of energy. She needs a job. She is an absolute JOY to own!! Our goal for her is to become a VC and a mama dog in 2024.

Ari won an Award of Merit at the 2022 Westminster Kennel Club Show (handled beautifully by Joe Metheney; pictured). She is currently ranked #11 in Breed rankings. Tough to get ahead when you have to share the limelight with Rizzo’s The Princess Bride Litter and Rendoni who she will be bred to in 2023. We’re hoping for some babies as beautiful as her mother GCHG TurningPt Ain’t No Other Woman Like You and her father GCHP2 Hildisvin Wurdig Bacardi SS.

Blush is in another set of twins from The Princess Bride Litter. She had two big wins under judge David Peat at the CODC Host Show #2, but because she was entered in the wrong class by accident, her entries were cancelled and so were her wins. Hard lesson learned, but it doesn’t take away the joy we had watching her glide around the ring and steal our hearts away when we saw that beautiful outline, forechest and face.

When you’re looking at Bryde, you’re also looking at Blush. The two girls are almost identical. Personality differences help distinguish the two of them. Bryde is more outgoing in the show ring. Blush is more outgoing at home. Both are delightful puppy girls. Thanks to judge Lynne Allen for awarding Bryde Winners Bitch/Best of Winners at the DCA CODC Host Show #1 to finish her Championship in grand style!
