What you like best about 4-H? It helps you outside of 4-H you learn a lot about the beef industry, as well as the positive effects from public speaking. You learn how to feed cattle for maximum weight gain as well as how to feed cattle so that they are still functional cattle down the road. Other interests? Fort Saskatchewan 4-H Beef Club 2017-18 The Club Steer Supporting the community is an important role 4-H clubs fulfill. One of the many ways Fort Saskatchewan Beef works to support the community is through the raising of a Club Steer. Each year, the funds are donated to the charity agreed upon by the members. The Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank have been recent recipients of the proceeds. It’s a great way for the kids to pay-it-forward in their community.
