Welcome back to Texas Performing Arts! We’re thrilled to have you at the theater after this very long intermission. We’ve been working hard to find the silver linings of this challenging time while you’ve been away. One of those has been the opportunity to renovate parts of Bass Concert Hall with your comfort and safety in mind. During the closure, we invested $3M in rebuilding the balconies to improve sightlines and accessibility. There are all new balcony seats as well as improved lighting. The lobbies have new carpet and more space to spread out. Doing everything we can to reopen safely has been our top priority. Air ventilation and filtration have been upgraded to the latest standards. We are now offering contactless mobile tickets and cashless concessions. Our new guest security system uses advanced technology to make your arrival more comfortable and convenient. We hope that you enjoy these improvements and that they bring you closer to great performances. This reopening also marks our 40th Season. We’re thrilled to celebrate the milestone with the return of spectacular Broadway shows to Austin. Thank you for being part of the Broadway in Austin community and helping make “live” more alive than ever! With your support, we are working hard to make Texas Performing Arts one of the most impactful arts organizations in the country. Together, we will rebuild from the pandemic and unlock the potential of the next 40 years. Thank you for joining us.
