1 Our Objective.

The aim of TLP’s elections is to evolve

our Leadership

culture to a new

level

of knowledge.

We need Leaders with a clear propose, correct knowledge and visionary strategy for the Team they’re about to lead. Since we were been developing this material we faced our Middle Managers are not prepared to be Real Team Leaders. After this statement we get the mission to develop tools that allow every member to know or at least to investigate the basic information for the responsibility they’re about to take. In this application we ask for the purpose of the team, the timeline execution, the main responsibilities of the roll and the basic AIESEC and LC knowledge.

The reason is Recruitment season give us opportunities to have a lot of new people in our lines. This for the 1st semester means we can afford bigger and stronger teams. And for the 2nd semester means we can complete our Middle Managers pipeline to covering the losses of the EB applicants. In the ideal scene we make our recruitment with Middle Managers READY so they can be involved in the planning and selection process of their own team. But not always we have that opportunity, so use this material strategically as your convenience and necessity goes. Either before or after recruitment, trying always not to interfere in any other of our important processes as recruitment, elections, summer or winter peak, etc.

3 WHO CAN APPLY?

.

After 3 to 6 months of LDM experience in the organization we can assume to have members with a certain expertise in the area they been working on and in the organization. This always will depend of the education we give and the growth and assimilation they show, but we recommend at least this first 3

months of knowledge and a previous

SMI experience.

The first target is our outstanding members, they are the one’s we’re about to challenge with a new ELD experience as a Team Leaders.

When our members accomplish all this customer flow there’s the time when we need to promote another ELD experience. Which is Re-Allocate in a TMP position, or Applying for TLP. *This experience could be in their own or another area.

We have developed an application questionnaire. This will be offered to your LC after you add the “LC Knowledge questions� in this questions you have to assure this applicant knows the most important aspects of your LC running activities.

We also add a check list for your applicants so they can resume all the required information and phases to apply.

general INFORMATION We’re trying to find a solution for every recurrent problem in TLPs processes.  It could be people applying for TLP’s position in their own area or in any other they have INTEREST. Also we find a recurrent problem for transition information and a lot of Areas Director’s time invest on education and transition. For this situations and to have a correct preparation we develop the

TLP’s transition Tool with the help of this tool we expected to have a better prepared TLPs, a correct information transition, a basic skill’s preparation and a perfect assimilation of the current team.

*In any area or situation for a new TLP this will be a MUST

 We encourage you to take the same timeline to make OC Recruitment Applications and add all the area’s Middle Managers positions to run a one and concrete TLP’s Applications calendar. This is a simple strategy to make just one effort with to big winnings.  As we explain before this is a flexible time application to use whenever you or any other area need. Even if a VP needs to run applications you can facilitate this content for them to launch it at any time on their own.
