Annual Giving An Investment in the Future
University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff

The Annual Giving Drive is an ongoing fund raising activity designed to generate funds to ensure a wellrounded educational experience for students attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). Funds generated from the yearly effort supplements state appropriations by providing an avenue for UAPB to underwrite the cost of activities and other needs for which state funds are not available. Our fund raising year runs from July 1 through June 30. The sections that follow describe various ways that you can contribute to educational excellence at UAPB.
ways to give University’s Highest Priorities State appropriations do not cover the entire cost of educating students at UAPB. We urgently need unrestricted funds that can be placed in areas of crucial needs. Such needs fluctuate, and targeted funds are made available as the demand occurs. Annually, this fund provides scholarships, awards and other financial support to students who meet with unexpected emergencies.

uapb phonathon
Each year our students telephone alumni and friends to give them updates on progress at UAPB and to ask for support of our key initiatives. In addition to raising money for much needed scholarships and awards and academic and extra-curricular programs and activities, the Phonathon gives our students the opportunity to speak with alumni and friends and become involved in our fund raising efforts. Specifically, students solicit alumni and friends throughout the nation for the university’s highest priorities—unrestricted funds, student scholarships, and athletic programs. If you have not received a telephone call from us and you would like to conveniently give by telephone during the Phonathon, please contact the Office of University Relations and Development. igive/isearch Visit www.igive.com register with iGive and shop at brand name online stores through the iGive Mall.
