All manufacturing will be centralized at the new plant in Plouay, Brittany.

Calyxia has developed a unique process to produce the first perfectly sealed, process resistant, and customizable microcapsules. We can protect reactive, functional and optical additives even in extreme temperature and shear processing conditions (extrusion, injection, compression moulding, film casting…) and deliver them at the right time and site for performance:
1 Reactive Additives (Catalysts, Accelerators, Curing Agents )
The Calyxia technology can protect process additives from premature reaction during processing, and then deliver the additive on command during curing This provides a significant advancement in terms of process and performance control
2. Functional Additives (Anti Wear Additive, Anti Abrasion Additive…)
The Calyxia technology is able to protect functional additives against degradation, cross reaction or instability during processing. Anti wear/abrasion additives are then delivered only in the event of wear or abrasion. Functional Additives enhance both the performance and the lifetime of the final product.
3. Optical Additives (Pigments, Liquid Crystals, Dyes….)
The Calyxia technology is able to fully protected optical additives throughout the lifetime of the product
This technology has been successfully validated with many large actors in high performance plastics, electronics materials and adhesives & coatings applications to provide new feature to their materials or to improve the performance of their current materials

DEMETA develops and markets NexTene by DemetaTM, a family of high performance and low carbon footprint materials adapted for extreme conditions, serving various markets, from energy to composite materials and other industrial applications. NexTene is a 2-component liquid system which, when mixed, polymerizes, and leads to a very high performance material It combines the best of existing thermoset, thermoplastics and fluoropolymers, with a low density (1.03) helping design engineers to avoid trade offs between properties.
In contrast with usual DCPD formulations presenting a distinctive smell, NexTene GPX00 grade is odorless and VOC free (according to European car makers’ VDA 270 and 278 testing methods), a must have for the production of parts made for car interiors or off highway cabins
Last but not least, NexTene’s simple and short production pathway leads to a significant carbon footprint reduction (at least 47%)
