Welcome to Tastin’ France, our 11th annual trade tasting roadshow taking place in three cities: Montreal, Houston and San Francisco, from May 15 to May 18, 2017. Our trade tastings aim at encouraging the distribution of French wines and spirits in North America, by introducing new exciting products or increasing the presence of existing ones. Our mission is to foster business opportunities and initiate network connections between professionals of the trade and French wine & spirits suppliers. Who are we? Our distillery is a family-owned distillery founded in 1859. We produce fruit brandies, liqueurs, griottes cherries with liqueur, gins and absinthes. We really take care of the quality of our products which are regularly awarded at international competitions. We export in many countries. We are registered with the FDA and our products meet the TTB standards. We offer also KOSHER spirits.
Our products PUR GOLD Willams Liqueur *with GOLD flakes*. Eyes wonder at our liqueur with gold flakes! PUR GOLD is firstly a fine Williams Pear liqueur with a shining colour and a rich palate. Who are we? The history of Château Grand Français dates back to the XVth century. Located at the north of St Emilion - Right Bank Bordeaux - it draws from a sandy loamy soil the riches of the land for its traditional grape varieties: Merlot and Cabernet. Our family vineyard of 8ha is converted to Organic Farming since 2002. We make 2 cuvées: Heritage in stainless stell and the Grande Cuvée in french oak barrel.
Our wines We will present for this occasion our new vintage 2015 with two cuvées : Heritage aged in stainless steel Grande Cuvee aged 12 months in french oak barrels.

Who are we? Winemaker in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru A.O.C, Château HautVeyrac is situated on Saint-Emilion’s hillsides (in Bordeaux’s area). Our vineyard of 10 hectares, on a particular clay and limestone soil, has been cultivated for 6 generations by the CLAVERIE’s and CASTAING’s families.
Our wines Château Haut-Veyrac 2012: 12 months in barrels (French oak), including 30 % of new barrels. Rewards: Gold medal « Challenge International des Vins » Gold medal and favorite wine of the president of Trophies « Elle à Table » Wine service: The ideal serving temperature is 18°C To be served with white meat, red meat and goes well on a Lamb shank with quinoa. Aging capacity: 12 years.

Who are we? The vineyards of Louis & Catherine extends from North to South of Chablis. Their viticulture is thoughtful, logic, benefactress. A strict parcel selection of 23 ha of the area has to offer cuvees of Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Vieilles Vignes and Premiers Crus, as well as an exceptional pure and rootstock Chardonnay Franc de Pied called L’Inextinct.
Our wines «L’INEXTINCT» is the name of the very first Chardonnay «Franc de Pied» to be bottled in Chablis. Indeed, destiny and Nature have put on the road of Catherine and Louis POITOUT, this parcel of 55 ares with very particular characteristics. Its oily and clayey soil has allowed the Chardonnay planted there to resist the phylloxera and so keep purety original plant without rootstock!

Our wines The vineyards are located on the slopes in the upper reaches of the Agly valley. About Cuvée Elise, the plot is planted with Syrah and Grenache is 45 years old on an original soil made up of layers of limestone and clay with rounded pebbles. The cuvees macerate for a long time, they are kept separately before being transferred into new French oak barrels and kept for 12 months to extract the tannins with great softness. Aging capacity is 10 years or more for this laying down wine.

Our wines Domaine de Gourjo is owned by the Salsac Family, member of the co-operative. The estate is beautifully situated on the hills surrounding the Hérault river. The vines have between 25 and 50 years old, a mix of traditional and international grape varieties. The blend reflects very well this association, a subtle association between a modern style and typical South of France aromas.

Who are we? From a one-man band to a global brand in just 20 years. An independent family business founded in 1620 with Château de Pennautier, the historic seat of the Lorgerils. Our wines Our vineyards are located in-between the Pyrenees to the South and the Black Mountains to the North, it enjoys a privileged climatic position where the excesses of the Mediterranean climate are tempered by the softness of the Atlantic influences. Who are we? CHATEAU LES AMOUREUSES, owned by M. BEDEL since 2011, is located in the Ardèche region. This estate is spreading over 70 hectars of different terroirs, exposures, altitudes and soil types, planted with a palette of grape varieties. 2 ranges of wines are produced: CHATEAU LES AMOUREUSES, a traditional range of AOP Côtes-du-Rhône and IGP Ardèche TERRES DES AMOUREUSES, an innovative range of IGP Ardèche.
Our wines Our new cuvée, white IGP Ardèche LE LIBY 2015 is a blend of roussanne, marsanne and viognier, aged in oak barrels during 24 months. The bouquet is spicy and fresh; the seductive and delightful palate displays exotic notes of pineapple and lychee.

Who are we? Domaine de l’Amandine is located at the foothills of one of France’s most picturesque villages, Séguret, in the southern Rhône. This family-run estate is currently managed by Alex Suter and his daughter, Mathilde. Farming 120 acres of appellation Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Village from hillside terraces and with grapes issued from vines averaging 50 years old, the estate produces a range of authentic Rhône wines. Combining traditional know-how and practice with modern methods and equipment, we are enjoying the challenge of producing wines that appeal to wine lovers both locally and internationally; wines that are fruity, smooth and well-structured whilst remaining an eloquent expression of our unique terroir. We look forward to welcoming you to Domaine de l’Amandine to discover the fruits of our labour.

Who are we? We are a family estate since 1905, through 5 generations, in Vinsobres, cru of Rhone valley wines. We own 92HA of wines grown in sustainable farming.
Our wines Expressive red fruit aromas on the nose complement a generous palate of fresh fruit such as blackcurrant and redcurrant, with a long finish underpinned by soft tannins. Average age of vines : 40 years. Average yield : 38 hl/ha. Annual production : 60 000 bottles. (5000 cases). Grenache 60 % - Syrah 40 % Picked by hand and machine and meticulously sorted. The grapes are totally de-stemmed before gentle crushing and vatting for 20 days under controlled temperatures in air-conditioned cellars.
