Who are we? We have been winemakers from father to son for many generations. We are proud of our family traditions that we have continued while giving ourselves modern techniques to ensure the fine quality of our wines. Our 21ha estate has vines on the hills overlooking the river Cher. Our annual production is around 1,200hl. Our vineyard is wel- established, situated for the most part on sandy soils with variable quantities of flint (gunflint) which gives a characteristic taste to the wine, notably for the Sauvignon. The other part is on flinty clay and limestone soils, which give the wine its robustness. The subsoils are flinty clay. All our vines have varied exposure from southeast to southwest to enjoy maximum sunlight. We practice sustainable farming. We harvest the grapes mechanically for the most part and make the wine in stainless steel vats, controlling the temperature at fermentation.

Who are we? The Grands Chais de France group began its activity in the LanguedocRoussillon with the impulsion of the J.P CHENET brand, the best-selling brand of French wine in the world today! This success reveals our know-how as a producer of southern French wines. Since then, we have been adapting to the regional changes (vineyard restructuration, introduction of new appellations…) with a unique goal to produce exceptional wines in order to answer consumers’ demands. Thanks to our history, our expertise as well as our presence in the Languedoc-Roussillon, we have a full control of the region. Our presence has grown through estate acquisition and also thanks to exclusive partnerships with cooperatives and domaines.
