News from Secretariat We are glad to introduce you to Im Changsoo, a secondee from Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG). Having studied Administration at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul (South Korea), Changsoo decided to serve as a public official in SMG, particularly in Social Enterprise Support Division, as a Manager. Within his two years of secondment period in UCLG ASPAC, Changsoo would like to enrich his experience domestically in Indonesia and internationally in the wider Asia-Pacific region. He would like to gather further insights for his future career as a leader in his team. More specifically, he also mentioned, “I hope to feel the various efforts for sustainable developments between local governments, organisations, countries and so on. I feel I’m lucky to be a member of UCLG ASPAC.” Im Changsoo started his secondment period in mid-July 2019 and will finish in 2021. His predecessor is Youm Mooyoul who finished secondment period in March 2019. As a secondee, Youm Mooyoul actively contributed in delivering capacity building activities in fire management to cities in Indonesia. UCLG ASPAC welcomes Im Changsoo for joining the Secretariat and hopes he can obtain great experience during the secondment period. UCLG ASPAC also thanks SMG for the great commitment and collaboration throughout the years.
