Hello from Secretariat
UCLG ASPAC is pleased to welcome two new interns that enthusiastically support us in delivering our work. Check out their introduction!
GABRIELA Kusuma Hernawan, or Gabriela, supports Knowledge Management and Communication . She is involved in the preparation to create various knowledge and communication products, such as writing articles/news for the Belt and Road Local Cooperation (BRLC) website and producing a campaign video for our Project. Gabriela is an undergraduate student majoring in International Relations at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. Back at university, she actively joined in some activities, such as the International Relations Student Association and Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) Brawijaya. During her internship at UCLG ASPAC, Gabriela expects to dive deeper into writing and enhance her knowledge relating to her studies on international relations, particularly issues of cityto-city relations or para-diplomacy. Gabriela hopes her experience can be a stepping stone for her future professional career.
AMANDA Rahma, or Amanda, supports Knowledge Management and Climate Resilience and Inclusive Cities (CRIC) programme. Amanda is an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology at the University of Gajah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta. Amanda has been involved in various environmental-related activities, such as Pecinta Alam (nature lover) and volunteering in AIESEC UGM ‘Tomorrowland’ Programme, Borneo Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in East Kalimantan, and many other activities from the Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP). Amanda was also part of an online campaign team of COP to raise public awareness to protect animals and Indonesia’s biodiversity. Amanda expects to get professional exposure and learn much from the experts and the programmes. Amanda would also like to study interstate and government relations to support her career.
