LINKING CITIES' INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT PROJECTS TO FINANCE 22 October 2015, Jakarta, Indonesia CALL FOR APPLICATION Back-to-back to the 6th Asia Pacific Urban Forum (APUF-6), this 1-day training event provides the platform for 25 city-representatives across Asia to connect, with the opportunity for learning, discussing, and exchanging ideas on how to link urban infrastructure investment projects to finance. As local and regional governments are now being entrusted into leading their city in achieving the new Sustainable Development Goals and Post 2015 Development Agenda Towards Habitat III, it is highly relevant to provide them with adequate financing mechanisms and linking cities to financing source. With this in mind, the Cities Development Initiative for Asia (CDIA), PT Sarana Multi Infastruktur (SMI), and UCLG-ASPAC organized this training course as a venue for city representatives to learn about the range of financing modalities and infrastructure funding sources; engage in interactive sessions; and exchange ideas through case studies.

CDIA is an international partnership initiative established in 2007 by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Germany. CDIA provides assistance to medium-sized Asian cities to bridge the gap between their development plans and
the implementation of their infrastructure investments.
