Hello from Secretariat UCLG ASPAC is glad to introduce its new project team member that will strengthen the programme and enrich the organisation’s contribution to cities and local governments. Arif Mahmood is newly hired to join UCLG ASPAC team in Pakistan office.

ARIF Mahmood, or Arif, is the Finance and Administration Manager of LEAD programme for Pakistan. Arif will be responsible to lead the finance, procurement, and overall administrative and human resources management of the programme in Pakistan in compliance with the organisation's and the European Union's guidelines and policies and procedures. Having a master’s degree in business administration in Finance from Virtual University of Pakistan and graduation in business commerce from University of the Punjab, Arif possesses 13 years of extensive finance working experience from various international not for profit organisation in various capacities (mainly International Rescue Committee and World Vision International). He also had experience working with Ghazi Barotha Traquiti Idara (GBTI), National Rural Support Program (NRSP), and National Commission of Human Development (NCHD), as well as renowned donor agencies, such as USAID, Australian Non-Governmental Organisation Cooperation Programme (ANCP), Department for International Development (DFID), AUSAID, European Commission (EC), World Food Programme (WFP), and Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund (AMIF) that have enriched his skills and enabled him to understand diverse and complex donor’s requirement. Arif is enthusiastic to work for the UCLG ASPAC ‘s goals and targets. He also expects an enhancement and enrichment of his professional development. In his spare time, Arif loves to watch movies and enjoys Seasons Plays and cricket.
