16th session of UCLG Africa Executive Committee UCLG Africa Executive Committee will be meeting at "La Tour Hassan" hotel in Rabat (Morocco) on 29 -30 May 2017. This executive committee is organized with the support of the Moroccan Association of Presidents of Local Governments Councils (AMPCC) and the Association of Presidents of Regions of Morocco (APRM). The meeting will be opened by H. E Abdelouafi Lafti, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Morocco. Also in attendance: -
The president of UCLG , Cllr. Mpho Parks Tau, in his capacity as Vice President of UCLG Africa for the Southern Africa Region; Ms Rose Christiane Raponda, Mayor of Libreville, Vice President UCLG for Africa; Mr. Hugues Ngouelondele, Deputy Mayor of Brazzaville, the host city of the 2018 Africities summit; Mr. David Andre, Vice President of UCLG Africa for the Eastern Africa Region; Mr. Cheikh Ahmed Baya, Vice President of UCLG Africa for the North Africa Region.
The meeting will discuss in particular the Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) signed in 2015 between UCLG Africa and the European Commission for a 5-year period in presence of European Union representatives.
