The BRC serves all students while emphasizing the Black experience. Their signature support programs include several Black Collectives, the BRC Internship Program, a Peer Guidance Program, and more.
CROSS CULTURAL CENTER

The CCC provides a place of belonging and validation for underrepresented and underserved students, staff, and faculty. The center offers training and workshops, internship and affiliate programs, and an ArtSpace for students to showcase their artistic works.
INTERTRIBAL RESOURCE CENTER

The ITRC is dedicated to creating a welcoming space on campus and a supportive community for Native American students, faculty, and staff by offering academic support, cultural awareness programs and social activities. The annual UC San Diego Powwow celebrates Native American heritage and helps educate our campus community about Native cultures.

The LGBT Resource Center is a diverse and inclusive public space for all members of the campus community to explore issues relating to sexual and gender identities, practices, and politics. The center hosts events throughout the academic year and participates in annual local events, like the San Diego Pride Parade.

The Raza Resource Centro is a space for all to converse and connect around intersectional Chicanx/Latinx identities, Latinidad, and cultura. Comunidad is cultivated through murals, a vibrant community space, internship opportunities, annual events, and more.

The SVRC is committed to ensuring military-connected students have resources to aid in their transition from the military environment to campus life. The center serves student veterans, military service members, their family members, and ROTC.

The Women’s Center serves as a resource for the entire campus community while focusing on the experiences of diverse women. The center provides education and support regarding gender issues, hosts fun and educational events, and offers a library of feminist literature.

UC San Diego was the best choice for my individual circumstances. From campus visits and comparing offers of admission, UC San Diego was a better fit for my interests as the institution continues to support equity, diversity, and inclusion in providing Indigenous students strong opportunities to succeed. Furthermore, UC San Diego’s reputation as a prestigious research institution was incredibly attractive with one of the best political science programs in the country.
