The Raza Resource Centro (RRC) is a space for all to converse and connect around intersectional Chicanx/Latinx identities, Latinidad, and cultura. Comunidad is cultivated through murals, a vibrant community space, internship opportunities, annual events, and more.

I’m in a club called Hermanas Unidas. It’s a group where a lot of Latina students around campus can come together, meet new people or find leadership opportunities. It was one of the first groups that helped me feel like a part of UC San Diego.

Undergraduates who live on campus can reside within one of our comfortable residence halls and apartments, but UC San Diego also offers several options for those interested in cultural or lifestyle housing. Residents in the Raza LivingLearning Community (RLLC) are committed to developing their understanding of and greater appreciation for the Chicanx/Latinx experience in the U.S. and the histories and cultures of Latin America. Students interested in the RLLC must apply for a spot.
