PROJECT 2: 20% Rationalising Neue Norms | Context, Crises, Community & Concepts INTRODUCTION Unit C approaches design from a thinking & research approach, using narrative inquiries, illustrations & models. Based on the site analysis of Meru and the formulation of the community narratives in P1, the project further challenges the architectural spatial concepts, in expanding conversations of imagination and design. These are centred on community identities and public engagement by being adaptive, resilient and progress into new futures, in the setting of current Crises (plural; (n.) crisis) at the global, macro and micro scales. The Neue-Architecture sets to provide a place of conversation of a new aesthetics architecture, the series of anthropological and urban morphological studies and the notions of ruralism and urbanism.

P2 will determine your individual’s project design intentions and your directions towards the outcome of the final project (P3). All the tasks and assignments issued Prepared by Aainaa Suhardi

TASK 2B- Micro site analysis- individual site strategies- 4 A3-sized pages of document (1 week)

Design a checklist of your site planning strategies. Each student must examine, select and critically analyse the relevant factors that are significant and relevant to your individual proposed programmes & site strategies. In this task, you must select and demarcate the exact location of your Building Design (Site 1, 2 or 3). Compose your planning strategies in the format of 4 x A3 size by using diagrams/drawings/mapping/collaging. These illustrations will inform your design actions Prepared by Aainaa Suhardi
