Most concentrated nodes are happening along the main road of Meru as well as interaction between three district, which are Meru, Klang, and Setia Alam.

A long-term uneven distribution of resources in a country might resulting in a social challenges, hence, utilitarian infrastructure is one of the mechanism for distributing walfare and adressing social and environmental equity. Utilitarian infrastructure can be categorize into 3 type, which are Public Infrastructure, Energy, and Waste & Water Management. The main objective of utilitarian infrasturcture is to serve the town to achieve the set of fundamental facilities and system that supporting the sustainable functionality of households or firms. In this chapter will be focusing of urban-rural utilitarian infrastructure challenges. In general, utilitarian infrastructure has been defined as “the physical components” of interrelated system, providing commodities and services essential to enable, sustain, or enchance societal living condition, and maintain the surrounding environment.

Meru reimagined as an autonomous system bridging the gaps between the different zones, by overlapping the rural agriculture, industrial factories, locals and migrants in a way they are able to contribute to each other. By adopting machinery and the automation of utilities, Meru is imagined as a self sustaining system while remaining it's identity and ways of living.
