Quiz night was a great way to celebrate the end of the irst half of sem two and the entry into study break. The theme of the night this year was “Back to the 90’s” and the dent kids de initely brought the 90s back, providing lashbacks to how our parents used to dress us and what we used to think was cool. There was way too much double denim and choker necklaces as well as appearances from the Spice Girls, Tupac, Pokemon, Braveheart, Clueless and a little too much exposure of someone later in the night… Throughout the night there were awesome challenges including impression taking where the 1st years put the upper years to shame, chubby bunnies that had people running to the bin to empty their contents (Anthony crammed in 22 marshmallows… yes it is possible), a plaque score to see who had the dirtiest mouth (congrats Bolun and Qui on your ilthy mouths) and an artistic plasticine challenge which was meant to be a lashback to 1st year d-tech with an array of amazing inished products ranging from a lowers to dentures to certain body parts… Questions tested dent students’ knowledge on movies, sports, music, dentistry and how well they knew OHCWA with a few pictures of tutors from the 90s including Baz McGee rockin that ine mo. The night was so much fun with a fantastic turn out this year and everyone had an amazing time with great competition between the years. The fourth years took out best-dressed prize and the overall winning prize (not rigged we promise). Thank you Santi’s, Baskin and Robbins, Kong’s and the UDSS for the kind donations and thank you to all who came and made the night so much fun! Good luck with exams everyone! Love Christina and Jess xoxo
