Encompassing sculpture, reliefs, mobiles, painting, drawing and printmaking, artists include: Robert Adams, Yaacov Agam, Rana Begum, Anthony Caro, Lygia Clark, Anthony Hill, Kenneth Martin, Mary Martin, François Morellet, Victor Pasmore, Takis, Mary Webb, Victor Vasarely, Gillian Wise and Li Yuan-Chia. East End Gallery displays* The East End Gallery houses rotating collection displays and artworks in focus. Currently on display are drawings by Elisabeth Frink (1930–93), Mona Hatoum (b.1952), Rachel Kneebone (b.1973) and Cornelia Parker (b.1956). Coinciding with Rhythm and Geometry: Constructivist art in Britain since 1951, Rana Begum’s immersive installation No. 670 Mesh (2016) will dynamically interact with the Sainsbury Centre architecture from October 2021
Tony Cragg In collaboration with Houghton Hall, the Sainsbury Centre present Hollow Head, by internationally acclaimed British sculptor Tony Cragg. This important sculpture is integrated into the collection display, the Living Area, surrounded by works by Francis Bacon, Chaïm Soutine and Henry Moore as well as masterworks of sculpture from Africa and Oceania Supported by the Houghton Arts Foundation
