January is Wellness @ Work Month at UMD

For most of us, January means that the campus is quiet and we can catch our breath after the fall semester and the holidays. It also tends to be a time for personal renewal as we resolve to exercise daily, eat less or more wisely, manage our stress, reduce our debts, spend more time with family and friends, read more books, volunteer, learn a new skill, find a new job, or in some other way improve our health and wellbeing. RecWell, the University Health Center, and UHR want to help you live well at work, and have designated January as Wellness@Work month and are offering activities, workshops, and services specifically for faculty and staff – a walking challenge, free gym memberships, workshops on healthy eating, small steps to success fitness, and saving for college,
