A note from CLIA UK & Ireland Director, Andy Harmer As one of the largest travel and tourism industries in the world, with the UK market the second largest contributor to its growth, the Cruise Industry transported over 1.7 million passengers in 2013 alone and provides hundreds of thousands of jobs for European nationals both shoreside and onboard every year.
