Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents To accept your offer of admission, complete and return the enclosed Confirmation of Admission (COA) form with your non-refundable tuition deposit before the expiry date indicated in your offer letter. If you need more time, please email the Admissions Office prior to your expiration date at admissions@uleth.ca.
Tuition Deposit Payment Methods
Your tuition deposit may be paid by cash, cheque, money order or online banking. The Registrar’s Office also offers the option to pay by credit card, as indicated below. Please note that future tuition and mandatory fees are paid to the Cash Office and they do not accept credit cards. These future payments will need to be made through one of our other payment options. By fax | If you are paying your deposit by credit card or online banking, this is the fastest and easiest way to accept your offer of admission. Simply fill in the appropriate sections of the COA form and fax it to the Registrar’s Office at 403-329-5159.

If you have not already done so, setup your Campus Login: 1.
Have your nine-digit uLethbridge ID number (from your offer of admission) available.

Go to ulink.ulethbridge.ca and select “Need help?” under the login button. Select “I need a user name”

You will be asked to enter your 9-digit uLethbridge ID number and birthdate.

Follow the steps to select a username, password and security questions.
You will use this username and password to log in to the ULink as well as many other important tools at uLethbridge, including the Bridge, email, library account and Moodle. It is a good idea to change your password regularly at ulethbridge.ca/webtools.

In person | Visit the Registrar’s Office (SU140) to drop off your COA form and pay the deposit by cash, cheque, credit card, debit card or online banking.
It may take up to three business days to process your COA form once received by uLethbridge. Your Admission status will be updated in the Bridge (ulethbridge.ca/ bridge) once we have processed your acceptance and you will be able to register in courses on or after the registration date indicated in your offer of admission letter.
International Students Once you have obtained the Letter of Introduction from Citizenship and Immigration Canada stating approval of your study permit and entry visa, please email a scanned copy to the International Centre at international.new@uleth.ca. Once this is received, the International Centre will provide you with instructions for accepting your offer of admission.

once you accept your offer of admission Program Planning Guide You can access your appropriate Program Planning Guide at ulethbridge.ca/ross/ppgs (guides for the upcoming Calendar Year are released at the beginning of April). This guide will provide you with the course requirements for your specific program, a sample sequence plan, as well as additional information provided by your faculty. You will use it to guide your course selection and keep track of your course requirements as you progress through your degree. Meeting the Conditions of your Offer of Admission Any conditions associated with your offer of admission will be listed in your offer of admission letter and on the Admissions menu on the Bridge (ulethbridge.ca/bridge). Unless otherwise specified, all admission conditions must be met by the Final Official Document Deadline for your program (see ulethbridge.ca/ross/admissions/undergrad/deadlines). If your admission conditions are not met by the appropriate deadline, your offer of admission may be rescinded or your registration privileges restricted.
Official Documents
To be considered official, admission documents must be received by the Admissions Office in envelopes sealed by the issuing institution(s). Admission Requirements
Once we receive your final documents, we will check to ensure your final grades and averages meet or exceed the requirements of your program. You must also successfully complete any applicable program-specific admission requirements (e.g., Biology 30 is an admission requirement for the BHSc in Public Health). Canadian and international high school admission requirements may be found at ulethbridge.ca/ross/admissions/undergrad/high-school New Transfer applicants must have a minimum admission GPA of at least 2.0, calculated on all transferable courses completed prior to admission. Some programs may be competitive, require a higher admission GPA, or have additional programspecific admission requirements.
English Language Proficiency
If you have received an offer of admission that is conditional upon meeting the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirement, you must meet this requirement by one of the approved means before you can begin your program of study: ulethbridge.ca/ross/admission-information/elp. One option to meet the ELP requirement is our English for Academic Purposes program. To apply for the English for Academic Purposes program, visit ulethbridge.ca/international/content/apply. All other documentation regarding ELP must be received by the Admissions Office no later than August 1 for fall admission and November 15 for spring admission.
Permanent Resident Card
Permanent residents must present their original Permanent Resident Card to the Registrar’s Office before September 30 for fall admission or January 31 for spring admission to be eligible for Canadian fee assessment rates. uLethbridge Email Your uLethbridge email account is where you will receive all official information from the University — important dates and deadlines, information about registration, emergency updates and more. Upon confirmation of admission, you will receive a University email account, and the University will use this account for all future email correspondence with you. You can log in and check your email on ULink (ulink.ulethbridge.ca). Confidentiality: Student email addresses are published in an online Campus Directory. As online communication is a major component of student success, students are strongly encouraged to have their email address listed as part of the Campus Directory, which is accessible only to members of the uLethbridge community. You must contact the Registrar’s Office if you wish to have your email excluded from this directory.

Other Important Information for New Admits Academic Calendar
Residence Requirements and Time Limits
The Academic Calendar contains all of the dates and deadlines you need to know during your academic career, as well as general information about the University, academic regulations and program information. It is published once per calendar year. The Academic Calendar in effect the year you are admitted outlines the requirements you will need to meet for your program. Your calendar year can be found in your offer of admission letter. If you take a break from your studies, you will follow the program requirements of the current Academic Calendar when you are readmitted. As you move through your program, you will be governed by the current Calendar in all other areas (e.g., academic regulations, fees, course prerequisites).
Each program has a residence requirement that stipulates the minimum number of courses that must be successfully completed at uLethbridge and, if applicable, when they must be completed in the program. For example, to be eligible for the Bachelor of Arts degree, students must have completed at least 20 courses at uLethbridge, including the last 10 taken for credit toward the degree. Some programs also have time limits for the retention of individual course credit and/or the completion of the program.

Transfer Credit If you have completed courses at a post-secondary institution and are eligible for transfer credit, you can access your Transfer Credit Statement through the Admissions menu on the Bridge: ulethbridge.ca/bridge. This Transfer Credit Statement reflects your current available transfer credit, any transferable courses that have been determined to be extra to your current program and any courses that are currently being assessed for transfer credit. Transfer credit for courses in progress will be awarded when we receive and process your final transcript. You can view current uLethbridge transfer equivalencies to find out how your courses will transfer: ulethbridge.ca/ross/ted. We may request course materials to help us assess your post-secondary courses. Prior to submitting any materials, please review the information available at ulethbridge. ca/ross/admission-information/adm_routes/new_transfer. All questions about how your transfer courses will fit into your uLethbridge program should be directed to your academic advisor: ulethbridge.ca/ross/academic-advising. High School Course Prerequisites Some of our programs require specific high school courses for admission or as prerequisites for required courses in that program. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary prerequisites for the courses required in your program. Bachelor of Nursing Collaborative Programs
Calgary Campus
The Bachelor of Nursing (BN) and Bachelor of Nursing (After Degree) (BNAD) programs are offered in collaboration with Lethbridge College. Students in the fouryear BN program will register in and attend courses at Lethbridge College for the first two years and uLethbridge for the final two years of the program. BNAD students will register in and attend most courses at Lethbridge College for the first two semesters and then complete the program at uLethbridge.
The Calgary campus offer the Bachelor of Management (BMgt), Post-Diploma BMgt, Management Certificate, and Professional Diploma in Accounting. Our classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends so you can continue to work, balance family life and further your education. You can study full- or part-time, whichever fits best with your lifestyle. The Calgary campus provides a full range of student services.
Information regarding registration in your fall courses as well as the date and time for the mandatory orientation meeting in September will be provided by Lethbridge College following receipt and processing of your acceptance and deposit. If you have questions in the meantime, please call the Lethbridge College Call Centre at 403-320-3323. Scholarships and Student Loans: While registered at Lethbridge College, scholarships and student loans are administered through the Lethbridge College Student Awards Office. You must be admitted to the program and have your Lethbridge College student ID number before you can apply. Their awards application is May 1. Visit lethbridgecollege.ca/awards for more information. Residence Requirement (BN): Eligibility for the Bachelor of Nursing degree is contingent upon the successful completion of 20 courses (60.0 credit hours) at uLethbridge, including a minimum of twelve in Nursing and Health Sciences. In order to meet this requirement, students must complete all third and fourth year courses at uLethbridge, including two of the four electives required in the program.
Bachelor of Education Once you have accepted your offer of admission to the BEd or a combined degree program with BEd, we will register you in Professional Semester I. If you have any questions, please contact our Registration Help Line 403-329-2052. Information on the mandatory orientation for Professional Semester I is enclosed with your offer of admission. It is critical that you attend the orientation; if not, your registration may be cancelled.

By now you might be asking yourself, “now that I’ve accepted my offer, what are my next steps?” Our Orientation & Transition team is here to provide you with support as you prepare to begin your studies. We want to ensure you have an extraordinary experience at uLethbridge and have a number of resources to help ease your transition. Between now and the first day of classes there are deadlines, events, opportunities and information you won’t want to miss. Some are essential, others are optional, but they are all important. Shortly after you accept your offer, you will begin to receive Mentor Mail in your uLethbridge email account. These emails will remind you when important dates and opportunities are approaching, allow you to ask questions, and pass along our own experiences, tips and tricks. The central and most comprehensive resource for everything you need to prepare for New Student Orientation and the first day of classes is the Next Steps website: ulethbridge.ca/future-student/nextsteps. It includes resources, links, dates, details and contact information.
The To-do List The To-do List is the most important resource on the Next Steps website. It is a complete listing of all the things you need to do between now and your first weeks on campus. We recommend printing it off and spending a few moments going through it. Watch for updates through Mentor Mail as the start of your semester approaches.
Register for Courses After accepting your offer, registering for courses is your next step. To ensure you get the courses you want at the times you want, register as soon as possible. Your registration date is indicated in your offer of admission letter. The Next Steps website has detailed information to guide you through the course registration process. You’ll need your program planning guide and transfer credit statement (see pg 6 and 7) as you prepare for registration.
Fund your Education uLethbridge has many scholarships for new students; all you need to do is apply. If the application in the Bridge is not available yet, don’t worry. We will email you as soon as it opens. However, it will only be available for a limited time so apply as soon as you can. Housing On campus
