UMS-Wright launched The Wright Way podcast in January of 2022, and is hosted by none other than the Head of School Mr. Barber. Told through the eyes of supporters, faculty, students, parents, grandparents, and even rivals, The Wright Way podcast will help listeners understand how and why UMS-Wright has thrived over the past 129 years.
This quote from the first sentence of the foreword written by Edward Ladd, opens The Wright Way, the centennial book celebrating the life and history of UMS-Wright. As such beneficiaries, we remain committed to the ideals and values learned by the thousands of students educated under the vision of Dr. Wright and the hundreds of teachers, coaches, and staff who have carried on the tradition of teaching and learning with an emphasis on spiritual development. As beneficiaries of UMS-Wright, we want to understand those who were before us, so we can help those who follow after. It is why we have devoted time and energy through this podcast to ensure that the inspiring stories of Dr. Wright's schools are told; stories of success, failure, individual and group accomplishments, good times, tough times, wars, pandemics, storms, and great victories. We want to understand those who were before us and those following after. This spirit of our school makes us who we are and guides us in working to meet the lofty mission of this organization.

THE WRIGHT FUND, our annual giving campaign that begins June 1st and ends on May 31st each year, is vital to the success of our school. Funds raised are allocated to our operating budget (our current students and faculty), The UMS-Wright Foundation (our future), and the Building Fund (new capital projects).
Your support will allow UMS-Wright to continuously develop individualized potential in each and every student, and will help them uncover their highest potential in mind, body and spirit.
Due to the generosity of 323 donors, $82,246 was raised on Give Day for The Wright Fund. $608,590.96 was raised in unrestricted funds during the 2021-2022 school year.
