The 2012 Eurovision contest winner Loreen, from Sweden and the great Belgian singer Kate Ryan will Headline this years Torremolinos Pride event joined by renowned national artists Locomía, OBK, Karina, Sofía Cristo and Rafatal Robles Gutiérrez. This fourth edition of Torremolinos Pride Festival will be from May 25 to June 2 and it recalls the events that happened in the Stonewall Inn, in New York, 50 years ago. Torremolinos Gay Pride is a 4 day celebration where the town comes alive with rainbows and glitter! It is an event embraced by everyone! More than 40,000 people attended the previous Pride event and that number is set to grow as the event becomes better know both in Spain and internationally. Concerts and parties take place throughout the 4 days, centred around La Nogalera. Other quirky events include the high heel race and the best dressed pet of Pride! Saturday is the biggest day of the entire event when the main parade makes its way through the streets of the city from 6pm, through a now established route with includes, Rafael Quintana, Europa, Las Avenidas Isabel Manoja y Manantiales, La Plaza Costa del Sol y Avenida Palma de Mallorca. The event culminates in Plaza La Nogalera with international acts, DJs, tributes and one amazing party atmosphere. All of the clubs and bars in La

Nogelara will host pride themed parties and events Thursday May 30 the already traditional display of the rainbow flag and the trans flag on the balcony of the Town Hall can be seen in the morning. This year will be opened by Madrid’s Victor Gutierrez, Olympic Water Polo player, and the first gay athlete from a selection coming out of the closet in Spain. The choice of this speaker is intended to raise awareness to the LGTBI community in the field of sport, from which we enjoy many of our most talented boys and girls. After the speach, the musical festivities will be led by DJ Rafatal, Drag Coral & Drag Suhaula. Friday May 31 - Great performances byf OBK, Karina and DJ Sofia Cristo, who will be accompanied by Sonia Madoc, Drag Sandra, Drag Psicotika and Drag Katrina. Saturday 1st June will be the PRIDE PARADE , which this year adds even more floats. The manifesto will be read by diverse families, since it is another of the main themes of this Pride: That same day, joining Loreen will be Locomía, Drag Satin Greco, @Drag Afrodisiack, Drag Alma and DJ Cascales. The closing act for Torremolinos Pride 2019 is Kate Ryan on Sunday,June 2, with a performance on the beach.
