DISCOVER
We are delighted to have you with us this evening and hope you enjoy your visit. You must have lots of questions about studying at Essex so feel free to ask our staff and students anything – our Student Ambassadors are also here to tell you about life as a member of our global family. As well as learning about your subject, you’ll have the chance to explore our campus and facilities. I hope you enjoy your evening and I wish you all the best for the future.
Yours sincerely Professor Jules Pretty OBE Deputy Vice-Chancellor
Today we have talks on funding, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and a general welcome talk. Feel free to pop into any of the talks and discover more about Essex and what we can offer you. TALK

The Alternative Guide to Postgraduate Funding This popular talk by Lucy Atkinson provides you with the perfect opportunity to discover alternative sources of financial support. Find out about hidden sources of funding to help you get ahead.
If you get a little peckish (is it dinner time after-all) then don’t worry! We have a range of places for you to try including Bonds Café in our Essex Business School building. Alternatively pop into central campus to discover more foods from around the world. But if you just fancy a hot drink and something to eat while you look around, we’re providing tea, coffee and biscuits.
From 5.00pm to 7.30pm you’ll be able to meet our academic members of staff who will be happy to answer your questions about studying at Essex. Here is a list of our Departments who will be available to speak to during the evening.

Instead turn off the A133 directly onto the Knowledge Gateway, which is on the north side of our campus, and follow the direction signs to the North Car Park which is next to our Essex Business School.
Our post code is CO4 3SQ. If you pop this into Google Maps you should be directed along the A133 which runs alongside our Colchester Campus. However, do not follow the directions towards Wivenhoe (on the B1028).
