SCHOOL


We’re a growing School but our people are always more than just a number to us. Our courses aim to teach leadership with integrity. We hope our students will leave us committed to doing business better.


We want to help our students achieve the very best degrees they can and enter the world of work with exciting prospects.


We’re a young School but we have a proud heritage. The University’s founder, Sir Albert Sloman, envisaged a School that would be concerned with real life and real problems and we’ve stayed true to this ethos to this day.

Essex Business School is located at the heart of the Knowledge Gateway, our research and technology park on our Colchester Campus.


The Knowledge Gateway also incorporates Parkside Office Village, an SME hotspot, and the Innovation Centre that is home to the University’s Start-Up Hub.
