The YWCA project serves as an opportunity to bring back to the community the concept of agriculture. Through the creation of three main nodes, the project invites passers and users of the site to participate of the learning experience of food production and the self-sustainability of the site through complex water treatment systems.From linking back the site to its agricultural roots and relationships to the Santa Cruz River, this project provides a connection between the community, the city and its history through the treatment, usage and care of water.
