Welcome We are delighted to welcome you to the University of East London Open Day. Our open days offer a range of interactive activities to provide a memorable flavour of academic and social student life. We want you to have an experience of life as a UEL student and to get to know the university in all its diversity. Your Academic School will extend a warm welcome and offer a range of opportunities to explore the social and support sides of student life, as well as subject taster sessions designed to deepen your understanding of the course you are interested in. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to talk to academic staff and students, who will be happy to answer questions on their personal experience of life at the university.

At our Student Services Fair, staff will be on hand to explain the professional support services and facilities available at UEL, such as our careers service, financial support, accommodation, Students’ Union, Library and our state-of-the-art SportsDock centre, chosen for the 2012 Olympics American team training base. You will have an opportunity to take campus and accommodation tours and we also hold a dedicated Student Finance talk. We aim to make these days as informative, interesting and relaxing as possible for you. We hope that you enjoy your day here and we look forward to welcoming you as a student in the very near future.
